i did send them a scanned noa2 2 weeks before they will reply.. this is their reply

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) has received your inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice. Unfortunately, we do not have record of receiving your approved petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The NVC will contact USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of this petition.

i called to uscis already and they only do is make a transfer request to the NBC..they advice to wait a 30 days.

When I called NVC they told me that they didn't receive my documents yet ( 3 weeks ago after my approval ). They told me to scan a copy of the approval letter and email it to them, but i have seen many posts people they send NOA2 to nvc and nothing change and they keep waiting

if we want to call USCIS we should talk with WHO ? and How ? it may helps ?

I KNOW IT MAY HAPPENS but i was not ready to start chasing down my case

my service center is NBC

call to uscis, and request to transfer to tier2 officer.and ask them wer is your papers right now.. i im also from NBC.. they are only few who have the same prob like this

your case status online changed when you got approved ?

my case stayed in initial review although they certified approval to our petition

may be this is reason among many why NVC They Do not yet receive our documents

I am in the same boat, sort of. I got my NOA2 about 29 days ago. I called NVC just about every other day for the past 2 weeks, and NVC is still saying they have not received my files as of yesterday. I finally called USCIS, and select option to report a problem on my case. I got the first operator and explained my situation. He went off for a few, came back and gave me an option to speak to another customer representative. I was on hold again for a few, then explained to the second operator my situation. She went off for a few, came back and told me that my files are ready to be sent to NVC, but it has not left USCIS, and still sitting in the mailroom in San Jose, CA.

Seriously? The mailroom? I mean for a freaking month? Does it really take that much time/effort to send out a piece of mail in the US of A? I mean my 85-year old dad do this everyday. Just ridiculous!

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.
