Hi all !!

I received il via email.. My interview date is 31st may.. In the letter p4 by nvc my d.o.b is mentioned wrong .. I hv sent email to nvc inquiry yesterday morning n asked them to send me the my letter again with correct d.o.b .. I m so worried n waiting for reply .. I am so shocked that they hv my original documents which clearly shows my d.o.b so y they mentioned it wrong .. Wot do u guys I think should I contact to American consulate in my country or nvc will reply to my answer coz in the letter they hv already mentioned that ur case processing is completed n referred to ur country's consulate .. Help me guide me plz ???

I think you need to correct it with both the NVC and the consulate. If they both obtained a wrong copy, and only one side gets fixed, there's a discrepancy that may cause you further trouble. So call NVC and consulate and make sure they both change to correct DOB and they have consistent records on your case.

Bottom line, don't rely on their system. Try to take ownership of your own case.
