Maybe we should pretend to be against it so that his world makes sense again.

Obviously this is such a new concept, no one has told you how to think about this issue yet and so a little common sense shines through for you

..... but just you wait, when the talking points come out, they will win ya over.

Like I said, I don't think it has anything to do with whether or not you have EVER committed a crime. It only means they will check for outstanding wants and warrants. No big deal really. I know most states do that when you apply for a drivers license.

Back in 1995 I went to get my Colorado license, and they wouldn't give it to me because I owed Florida like $100 for an unpaid ticket.

I love that you're under the impression that I'm not able to think for myself, just because I am actually for something you thought I would be against.

More brilliant Dannologic.

Whoever wrote the article needs to go back to school. This isn't a criminal background check they are asking for. They are wanting to know if someone is wanted. Big difference.

exactly. this lefty doesn't care if they check for outstanding warrants before issuing welfare. i think they should take it a step further and check for an exorbitant amount of unpaid child support as well.

Agreed. Worst liberals ever.

Someone clearly has not taught you what to think about this.

What you encountered was interstate cooperation or "reciprocity". (many states were not connected)

Thats all behind us now, Homeland-security tied all the DMV's together.

When I went to renew my NC license after the H.S. act, I had to pay off old NJ stuff, before then not only didn't they question it but for a number of years I had active licenses in both states.

(I had to pay like $900.... ouch!).

I still don't believe it's connected. Not to Texas anyway. I have outstanding unpaid traffic tickets all over the country and I just renewed my Texas license without a problem. In fact when I drove to Florida a couple years ago, I drove up to Arkansas and down through Mississippi since I have outstanding traffic warrants in Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Arkansas offers my only safe passage to the east.

progressiveness is a disease that manifests with a rampant capability to reason. reason of course is bred of independent thinking.

meanwhile conservatives within this thread are still all "but muh guns, gimmie muh guns".

you guys have your damn guns, chill.

They'll turn any thread on this board into something about guns. They're a paranoid bunch. So scared of "the man" taking away their precious guns so they cling to them to the point of insanity.
