Can a applicant/beneficiary apply them selves as the ones to establish communication for the choice of address and agent?

When I apply this form online do I have to pay the fees right away?

Thanks!

Yes, the beneficiary can choose themselves as agent. Honestly, it doesn't matter who you choose since, as long as you give over both email addresses to an operator when a case number is assigned, all correspondence is sent by email, making the Choice of Agent form sort of moot.

No, when you submit the DS-261, it'll be a few days before the IV bill is invoiced. And when it is, it doesn't need to be paid right away.

Doesn't matter which you do first. The DS-261 is part of the IV track and the $88 fee is part of the AOS track. The two tracks run independent of one another and have nothing to do with each other (except that both need to be completed for a case complete).

Please click on the flowchart in my signature below. I put it together and should help you visualize the NVC process better.

I also suggest you click on the last 2 links in my signature and do some reading.

HI..please help..I'm a bit confuse on what to enter on DS 261 under SURNAMES and GIVEN NAMES. If for instance my full name is CHAMCEY-ANN CHAKADEE CHENAKABUM. I entered my surname "CHENAKABUM" (married from my husband's surname); and given name"CHAMCEY- ANN".. (CHAKADEE as Maiden.NAME). Did I do it right? I'm a bit confused with the given example. below. Thank you so much and God bless
