if you went thru Infantry school and other top secret courses at Ft Benning back in the early 80's they called you everything. Never any racial slurs that i recall.

Of course not, you'd incite a riot if that happened. We had a few fights break out, you know getting 60 guys from all walks of life back in the early 90's was going to be interesting at best. I was lucky and had my basic training at Fort Jackson, and my navy training was in Great Lakes.

We in processed us through Ft Jackson then after a week they bused us to benning. It was not for the faint of heart. I wish I had it to do over and had done 20 in the Air force

Me too, being here at Scott and seeing how they do things, their quality of life is leaps and bounds better than the Army, the Navy isn't so bad though.
