Called NVC today she just asked when we got approved 16aug we told her. And she just said wait 8 weeks and hang up.

So very nice service they got there. Our call is very important to them did we hear for 30 min (yeah sure)

I think we should be the first group to try and not complain about the rate both centers are moving at! We all know we have to wait. It's so discouraging coming on here and half the posts are people

You are better to call the DoS. They are much quicker and very friendly. NVC wouldnt even talk to me.

Just wondering if anyone elses NOA2 said they've been sent to the US Embassy and to contact the consulate about further questions regarding our case... nothing about NVC or DOS...

I just received the same letter today? have you called or checked because from what i know, it has to go through the NVC but mine said it will be forwarded to the consulte.

So we still haven't received packet 4. I had B email Vancouver to ask if they received the fax se sent over a week ago. Today they replied they did receive the form, but are waiting on him to fax the checklist. *facepalm* Apparently he only faxed the form. Silly silly mistake...

Also, congrats on all the recent NOA2 approvals! Though it does look like its taking just over a month for them to get sent to NVC. But we are all nearing the finish line so yay!

Mine says that it'll be forwarded to the listed consulate, too. If you call NVC, they'll tell you that it gets sent to them first. Then they will forward it to the embassy.

I just received the same letter today? have you called or checked because from what i know, it has to go through the NVC but mine said it will be forwarded to the consulte.

Ordered my wedding dress dancin5hr.gif It should be here tomorrow. I'm excited! (Still waiting to hear from NVC)

I had bought a second hand dress but when I took it to get it adjusted it was going to cost me about $150, on a $40 dress. Not alot in the long run but then I was passing another second hand store and saw a dress in the window. I took my mom with me to get her opinion and try it on, and she can do any alterations, and it was only $70. So I can put the other on Kijiji or E-bay, get my money back and in the end save. But my dress is now washed and hanging in my closet. 5 weeks to POE!!!! I gave my notice on my appartment and at work, and it is so hard to stay motivated now. I just want to be down there. I have been slowly packing my appartment and getting quotes on moving companies as a U-haul will cost me over $3000, so why not have a movign company do it for me right? What I dont spend on Hotel, Gas and food I can spend on a plane ticket and relax. My fiance has put an application on a house for us...Things are coming together.

Had my interview last Oct 7 :) and got approved. Flight to US in on Oct 17 :)

Feb. 2013 - First conversation ( we met through a friend )
Mar 26, 2013 - First meeting in person, Manila
April 06, 2013 - He went back to US
April 15, 2013 - I-129F sent to USCIS
April 17, 2013 - I-129F delivered
April 19, 2013 - NOA1
April 23, 2013 - Alien Registration Number was changed
June 17, 2013 - Second Visit
July 31,2013 - RFE
August 06, 2013 - Return to US
August 08, 2013 - RFE reply sent. ( next day delivery service)
August 09, 2013 - RFE response received
August 13, 2013- APPROVED!
12nn - Received an email from Representative Staff that our petition is approved already. ( w/ email from USCIS officer )
8pm - Received email confirmation about the approval & Online Status Updated.
August 14,2013- got my BC & Cenomar ( waited 5mins for BC & almost 1 1/2hr for Cenomar)
August 15, 2013 - got my NBI ( total processing time from step 1 to releasing 1 1/2hrs)
August 23,2013 - CFO Attended, Got GCC. Sticker to follow.
Sep 18, 2013 - Got MNL Case # via Phone & Paid Visa Fee @ BPI
Sept 23, 2013 - Medical PASSED - 1 Day Only

Sep 24, 2013 - Case status " READY"
Oct 07, 2013 - Interview - APPROVED
Oct 08,2013 - Status changed AP then ISSUED

Oct 10, 2013 - Status @ 2go site - HOLD for Pick up

My fiancé in Mexico has his interview scheduled October 24th,,,,,exactly 6 months after NOA1 !!

We're both so excited and si dios quiere (god willing) we will be together the first weeks of November.

Our interview is set for Nov 25th, given he can do the medical on the 21st. We'll know tomorrow if we are going to have to reschedule. That was the first available date, and unfortunately it's a date that I'm not able to make due to work. We are hoping to have him make the move around Jan 2nd and looking to do the wedding in Vegas the week after Valentines day.

When are you planning on crossing? And how are things going with the wedding planning?

We're waiting for our interview. It's scheduled for Nov 29th. we don't receive a packet 3 or packet 4... my fiancee just goes to the interview. I guess the process differs from country to country.

For those of you who've had their interview already, anything to share? what questions they asked....what proof they asked for etc?

Still waiting to be sent to NVC... Today is our son's first birthday. I received my dress about 2 weeks ago, fits PERFECT and its gorgeous! Calling USCIS on Monday to ask why we haven't been sent over to NVC yet. Why the hell are they holding on to our file for 8 weeks?! WE ARE GETTING ANXIOUS AND ANGRY!
