I'm still waiting for NVC to get my case. It's been over 3 weeks now. From what I've seen on here, people wait at least a month for them to get it. Do I really need all of those items? I can get another certified copy of my birth certificate. Would I need to mail it to her for her interview or is scanning it in as a PDF and emailing that acceptable? Thanks!

Okay, so lets see if I got everything I need:

  1. I-134 signed.
  2. Copy of my 2012 W2 from my employer
  3. Printed the PDF version of my 2012 Tax Return
  4. Letter from my employer stating salary and start date (also on paystubs)
  5. Last 2 paystubs (I can scan and send him copies to print up to the date of his interview)
  6. Certified original of my Birth Certificate.
  7. Certified copy of of my Divorce Decree.
  8. (2) copies of the DS-156 filled out & unsigned.
  9. (1) copy of the DS-157 filled out & unsigned.
  10. (1) copy of the DS-156K filled out & unsigned.
  11. (1) copy of the DS-260 filled out & unsigned.
  12. (2) of his passport pictures printed out on glossy photo paper (I have the digital copies of his)
  13. (1) copy of our entire I-129F with all new (and original) signatures on everything.
  14. Call logs printed right from my cell phone. It shows several calls at the beginning, middle & end of every month since I returned from my visit in Argentina
  15. Screen shots of our skype conversations.
  16. Text log printed from my cell phone, there's not a lot there but it's something.
  17. Proof of engagement: Does a screen shot of my FB announcement count? He doesn't have a receipt for my ring, I could take a picture of it on me?

Am I missing anything? I don't have any new pictures of us together, I was there in January, applied in April and it's only September. (so not complaining)

I think we should be the first group to try and not complain about the rate both centers are moving at! We all know we have to wait. It's so discouraging coming on here and half the posts are people

That depends on your country. Argentina requires it, and some things they don't require, but I'd rather him have it in case they ask. :)

You might be able to download it from the Ukraine embassy's site. Some countries have it up, some don't.

Thanks Hannah, I am now in AP as they didnt bother to look at the form where i checked off that my children are not coming or following to the US. I had to send them a statement to clarify. Hopefully they will clear that off today and then get the visa issues. I am not giving any notices till I have my visa firmly in hand. It is frustrating that they dont move equally fast at both consulates but then I imagine, since Montreal is the only one doing the spousal visas that they ahve more of a back log.

Well at some point last night the status went from AP to Issued and I got a call this moring to go pick it up!! I am now sitting with my Visa in hand!!! I will be putting in my notice at Work and for my apartment and now to get packing so it isnt last minute.

Just got my Case number today after 36 days from NOA2

Feb. 2013 - First conversation ( we met through a friend )
Mar 26, 2013 - First meeting in person, Manila
April 06, 2013 - He went back to US
April 15, 2013 - I-129F sent to USCIS
April 17, 2013 - I-129F delivered
April 19, 2013 - NOA1
April 23, 2013 - Alien Registration Number was changed
June 17, 2013 - Second Visit
July 31,2013 - RFE
August 06, 2013 - Return to US
August 08, 2013 - RFE reply sent. ( next day delivery service)
August 09, 2013 - RFE response received
August 13, 2013- APPROVED!
12nn - Received an email from Representative Staff that our petition is approved already. ( w/ email from USCIS officer )
8pm - Received email confirmation about the approval & Online Status Updated.
August 14,2013- got my BC & Cenomar ( waited 5mins for BC & almost 1 1/2hr for Cenomar)
August 15, 2013 - got my NBI ( total processing time from step 1 to releasing 1 1/2hrs)
August 23,2013 - CFO Attended, Got GCC. Sticker to follow.

Got an email from the embassy with packet 3 attached! They just sent packet 3 in the snail mail to him today too. smile.png

We already downloaded it from the website and gathered all the required documents, the ones he needed from me are on their way via snail mail.

Medical is next week, things are moving so fast! >.<
