RFE was received by CSC today. The fiancé goes back to Brazil on Friday until the visa is in hand. Most likely going to miss our son's first birthday... Really wishing this would speed up. cry.gif

I think we should be the first group to try and not complain about the rate both centers are moving at! We all know we have to wait. It's so discouraging coming on here and half the posts are people

Mar 26, 2013 - First meeting in person, Manila
April 06, 2013 - He went back to US
April 15, 2013 - I-129F sent to USCIS
April 17, 2013 - I-129F delivered
April 19, 2013 - NOA1
April 23, 2013 - Alien Registration Number was changed
June 17, 2013 - Second Visit
July 31,2013 - RFE
August 06, 2013 - Return to US
August 08, 2013 - RFE reply sent. ( next day delivery service)
August 09, 2013 - RFE response received
August 13, 2013- APPROVED!
12nn - Received an email from Representative Staff that our petition is approved already. ( w/ email from USCIS officer )
8pm - Received email confirmation about the approval & Online Status Updated.

We got approved 2 working days after we sent the RFE reply good.gif

I'm really hoping we're approved just as quick... we sent the reply on a Friday so its understandable that they would have just received it for review on a Monday... It would be wonderful to have that approval by the time he boards the plane.

We've been "in transit" to Vancouver since Tuesday. I had B go ahead and send an email to the embassy last night requesting packet 3. Due to the fact that he needs one more shot for the medical and me wanting to be there, we are looking to schedule the interview sometime in early October.

We've been "in transit" to Vancouver since Tuesday. I had B go ahead and send an email to the embassy last night requesting packet 3. Due to the fact that he needs one more shot for the medical and me wanting to be there, we are looking to schedule the interview sometime in early October.

was that last Tuesday or a week ago? We Been in transit since wens day yesterday? Trying to get a idea how long it's going to take. Maybe I should go book my medical too if its going to be a while. The medical I can always schedular for a few weeks from now.

4/01/2014 faxed expedite supporting documents to number on letter sent to me. Waiting waiting waiting

4/03/2014 (68 days) EAD and AP approved text message sent status post decision. Hooray !!!

4/7/2014 (72 days ) status change to card in production for EAD.

4/10/2014 ( 75 days) status changed after calling uscis regarding urgency of EAD. Also usps tracking number at 20.580pm

We have been in transit for a week now. NVC still hasnt gotten our file or at least hasn't logged it and assigned a case number. I have packet 3 jsut about ready to go, and am jsut aching to get the interview and nedical schedules. I am hoping to be on the road November 1...since I don't think I will get everyhting done before the end of August. I need to give a months notice for my rental and I promnised work I would give a month as well. I really hate not being able to make plans...

I called the dos and they told me it gets sent two ways one electronically which takes about 3 days to show on the consulates system they also send it by mail which takes about a week to arrive at the consulate. She said they wait to receive both then they send out packet 3. The reason I even called them was cos the CEAC website was saying in transit Nd that my interview was provided to me by NVC so was a little confused about that. But she said that was a error that the consulate provides the interview date not NVC.

We are at 27 days since approval. I wrote my Congressman today. This is totally ridiculous that it takes a month after approval to forward the Petition to the next stage. And, still no NOA2 in the mail .. Time for someone to dig into what is happening at the Texas Service Center.
