My status was just updated saying my approved case was shipped to the Department of State. I received the email for my NOA2 on July 25, so it also took 3 weeks just to ship.

Just called NVC and they said it takes up to 8 weeks, what DOS number are you calling? Why is it better than calling NVC, less wait time?

Have you received your case number or more updates to your status?

I just got an email saying we've been shipped to NVC! Finally, it only took 20 days. I'll refrain from calling tomorrow and just wait until Monday. Hopefully we'll get the case number. Fingers crossed!

I'm calling the DOS at 202-663-1225. Press 1 then 0.

Our status changed to being shipped last week. I've called everyday, and just got off the phone with them, still hasn't been "received" by NVC yet. I'm starting to get a bit worried because most have a case number a few days after the shipped notification. But then again it could be stuck in the mail room.

We are in the same spot. :( Still waiting in TSC. No updates, no nothing. I did not even get the NOA2 in the mail or anything, but I will be giving them a call on the 25th to ask them to mail me another one, in case I don't get it before that. Some people that were approved on the same week are being transferred already, and that is keeping my hopes up. This system is really disorganized... I wish things get a little more straight for us to understand how it all goes... Amen

Nothing they do makes sense. People getting approved after you getting through much faster. Has nothing to do with each case being different. If you are approved there is no reason someone being approved after should be getting sent to NVC before you. It makes me sick when I see this.

Just got off the phone and spoke to someone who was very helpful.. He pulled the system and said the last case the CSC worked on was March 12 so at the very least it gives me an idea that my case is about a month away. I filed on April 12. Wish everyone the best of luck for those who are still waiting for approval. It's not easy sitting through this with uncertainty.

So in the off chance that something would have changed, I called NVC tonight. They've received our file. According to the guy, "it's in a big metal shipping container out on the loading dock". I'm not quite sure how I feel about that, or how accurate that is, but at least it's somewhere, right? Maybe tomorrow we'll have a case number...

We were just approved for NOA2 on 8-14-13 under 4 months with CSC. I'm just feeling blessed so not expecting our papers are going to NVC within an expected time that we may have. I'm not going to get upset because of the days it takes when in the whole matter we where blessed with approval so what makes me demand it should be in a 2-3-4 weeks? I waited before and in Gods time it will happen. Choose your own way of thinking but that is mine and I hope we all get to where we want soon :-)
