Interesting, my April NOA1 of April 24 from VJ guesstimate went from August 02, now up to August 04. Seems reality is setting in and I doubt 8/4/13. No big deal. I expected month more from the beginning.

Yeah I guess July approval would be kinda "fast". I shouldnt panic until at least September (5 months from my NOA1 April 24th date).

I just continue to pray & stay hopeful that our time comes soon.

I haven't seen my fiancé since February and it's getting to me.

I know I feel the same way, especially seeing people be approved weeks after mine was filed I'm so anxious for it to go through. I'm glad and happy for everyone that got approvals but come on lol! I will get to see my fiance next week so I feel for you Jess. I went 4 months without seeing him and it sucks. Nothing is easy about this.

Where did you get this data from? The last 3 digits of my case number is 700

If you look back a couple of pages I explained how I got it.

My case is EAC1390263466

So I'm looking at cases in that 400 range, which is what I've been posting.

No one in my batch updated today... I agree it is frustrating to watch those after me get approvals. I am April 5 and most approvals I have seen are later. I am trying so hard to be patient because I know we are still well within our processing time but that doesn't make it any easier.

I was so excited to be transferred and now I'm seeing the ones that weren't get approved. It's disheartening BUT I just really hope that means ours is going to be any day now. It has to be, right?

This is what I've been doing (466 is mine, so that's why it's highlighted):


Which basically shows me the progress through the case files. There's no K1 apps in the 500's and I didn't see any in the 600's either. There were only a handful in the 300s, and very few "stragglers" that got transferred.

This is how I did it:

It's pretty easy you go here, which you can get to by visiting the USCIS website and entering in your receipt number in the "case status" box on the left navigation.

It looks like this:


Then you'll be on this page:


From there you change the last 2 digits in your case number down or up.

So 411, 412, 465, 466, 489, 490, etc

They get thousands of petitions a day, these are not all K1 petitions that come in and get numbers before ours, so keep that in mind! 3000 numbers before could be a matter of a few days on your Receipt Date.

Explains case numbers. Now I'm not sure how FULLY applicable that is, since it's 5 years old, but it makes some sense. Considering my "day in the fiscal year" is in the 900s, I suspect it may be "computer days" since they started the electronic process (i.e. 2007-2008). But I could be wrong, that's all just speculation.

Yeah I think there's about 3 that are still on initial status including mine. There are alot of RFE's and approvals. OMG I am way too antsy right now! If it hadn't been transferred, I would still be thinking September approval....but it's any day now HOPEFULLY!

My fiance lives in Argentina, I haven't seen him since January 22nd. The cost of a round trip flight to Buenos Aires averages at $1,300USD, never mind the cost of a hotel, food, cabs, etc. :c I miss him terribly and my daughter recently had surgery (and complications there after), I really could've used him here.
