Actually, it's been almost 4 months lol! It's hard to see the approvals of those who've filed after us. But we all knew that going in, that this would happen. There isn't much fair to this process. I have my fingers crossed to hopefully have NOA2 or even an RFE at this point by August 2. I'm flying down to see him on the 3rd and this would help me greatly at border control.

If it makes a difference, I just checked the ones around me, 2 are not k1s, 1 not found, 2 rfes, 5 transfers.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you guys though. :)

Just remember though, the waiting doesn't end at the noa2, and from what I'm reading, Texas is a bit slow sending to NVC. Personally, this waiting period is the one driving me crazy.

Also, check your status online after 9pm eastern time. Both of the Texas updates & NOA2 weren't showing at about 8pm, but were there after 9pm.

lol Yeah, Calendar wise it is almost 4 months But I recall reading somwhere that the service centers actually count the first month as month 0. that way tehy cn push out thier 5 month processing goal to an actual 6 month. I am finding I am almost anxious. All these approvals are driving me crazy because I had it set in my mind that I wouldn't hear anything untill late October at the very earliest. now my head keeps screaming at me to start getting everything ready to go. Heck I have even been debating packing up stuff I don't need out right now and being that much futher ahead. I have packet 3 ready to go except for my police report and the Support document. My fiance is putting that together along wtih getting a second ceritfied copy of his divorce decree. So many little things to think about...

Just received notice that we have an RFE is on it's way... I can't pretended that I'm not seriously bummed out (and wondering what it could be about?!), but I'm keeping my chin up and thinking positively!!! I'm glad that our files are finally being touched!

Anyone know how quickly RFEs are processed once the TSC receives them? Can I expect a decision pretty quickly once they have the additional evidence?

Mine ends 884 so does that mean I'm in for a long wait?

Sorry just seen your VSC and I'm CSC

Understandable. :)

You can check by just changing the last 2 numbers in your case number up or down on the case status page on the USCIS website.

Mine was 466, so I started with 400 and went to 499.

What you do is up to you. :)

No, but you can see if people with similar case numbers are getting processed in batches, and if your case is around that, there's a good chance you're in that batch. :)

Granted there are some in that batch that didn't get approved and there could be some very valid reasons, a background check is taking longer than expected, a flag needs further investigation, Adjudicator went on vacation, who knows. :P
