Hi all! So I swore I wouldn't be obsessive with checking our status and such. So far I've been pretty good about it, only every other week or so, and only checking in here every so often. But tonight when I checked our timeline, it's showing early October for a possible noa2. Now don't get me wrong I'd be ecstatic if it came athat soon, we have been planning for early November. But I'm wondering if the timeline for Vermont is skewed because of the transfers/approvals from Texas. I've checked igor's list, and the recent approvals do seem to be from the Texas batches. Thoughts?

Also a question for you canucks, has anyone started gathering immunization records? If so how did you go about it? B says that his doctor is no longer in practice, and the records destroyed so I'm at a loss on what he needs to do. I've read about the blood tetre test, but where would he go to get it done?

Hey, I had to get a tetre test done as there was no way to get all my immunization records. just ask the doc and they will send him for a blood test that will give his immunity levels and then he can update any that are low. I found out my body burns through the tetenus vaccine faster that the every 10 years so had ot update that.

I too agree that the results might be a bit skewed as I don't think everyone who was transfered adjusted their timelines to reflect it. I would hope that mine will be processed between Sept 12 and Oct 2 but...I am not holding my breath. We too are hoping for November but we are trying to just play the wait and see game.

As for a Canadian Police certificate, you can go to any local police station and ask for it, or to the RCMP but I beleive that is only required if you have anything on your record. My understanding is that it is pretty quick turn around in Canada. I need to get on that and on my long form birth certificate.

I have been pretty good about the checking. As hard as it is, I find that I don't get as anxious if I don't cehck every day. Plus it has helped to be busy at work and with my kids. now that it is summer, I have event planning every month and the kids keep me hopping.

USCIS website was updated again & VSC is processing at 5 months again.

I've seen some March filers getting approved, so I think we're not too far behind; people with March NoA1's stating they've been approved, and several late Feb filers.

I also saw a post that VSC transferred the backlogged case files from Feb 25th and back over to TSC, so that sped up their processing which is why I believe we're seeing March filers getting approved.

Granted this is all my observations of the boards, so don't take any of this as fact, and every case is different so people will process at different times.

I absolutely despise my country. Not a DAMN thing is a straightforward process. It's a bureaucratic NIGHTMARE! I'll spare you guys the deatils---just a rant to blow off some steam.

Anyway, so I had emailed the VSC to find out whether I need to get a police report from the US (since i've resided there for most of my life)...shockingly, I get a reply saying "Based on the information you have provided, the Vermont Service Center (VSC) is not able to locate a record of your filing at this office."

What is going on???

Contact a tier 2 immigration officer when you call, they may have transferred your case, lost the files, or you could've just had an incompetent customer service professional.

To check the status of your case online you can go here and enter your receipt number (should start with three letters, like the VSC usually starts with "EAC". That will tell you if it's in their electronic system or if it's been approved/denied.

To get MORE information you can create an account here, and it'll show when your file was last touched by an immigration officer, and some more details. You have your NoA1, with your Reciept # they should be able to locate your files.

April 17 filer transferred and I'm soooooooo excited about it ^.^ VSC is tooooooooo slow.

Just fyi, if you're a transfer, it's been helpful to put your transfer date in the RFE section of your timeline, so we can follow each other. Don't actually change your processing center, though, because it messes with the stats.

On July 10, 2013, we transferred your I-129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Will I get RFE? My fiancee accidentally sent photocopies of my bio form ( with sig), part c and part b question 18 ( with his sig) and his intent to marry with incorrect house number. Maybe he got confused between the original and photocopies. =/

We sent all photocopies, no originals. We were told to bring the originals to the interview. I wouldn't stress on it too much.

I got transferred too today, very happy about that!
