Inside US ? Of course you can travel inside US . You can leave your house just not the country :)

But be careful with places like Puerto Rico , Virgin Islands and such. Stick to the 50 states

Exactly 3 months from the day we got married till the day I had both SSN and GREENCARD in hand !

Day 15 02/04/2013Biometrics appt letter for 2/25/2013

Day 16 02/05/2013 Succesful walk in biometrics 20 days early

Day 25 02/14/2013 USCIS status changed to Testing and Interview ready for interview scheduling

Day 31 02/20/2013 Email notification that my interview is scheduled for March 21st

Day 57 03/19/2013 EAD/AP card ordered

Day 59 03/21/2013 Interview at 10.30 am Seattle Approved

Day 67 03/29/ 2013 Greencard Arrived . Applied for SSN

Day 68 03/30/2013 EAD arrived

Day 74 04/03/2013 SSN card arrived

Hello everyone :help: , I've got a doubt... Im a K1 visa holder and I would like to know If I can travel inside of the USA while my AOS is being processed. Does anyone know something about it?? :)

You can travel anywhere you wish in the 50 states. If your travels involve HI/AK make sure you fly non-stop to/from the mainland.

While inter-US travel should generally be no trouble, should you visit a state sharing the international border with Mexico, be sure to carry your documents, including your foreign passport with current I-94 and a copy of your marriage license. There have been reports of mobile CBP checkpoints looking for undocumented people.

Even though we now have her GC, we recently flew from Reno to Santa Ana, Ca. The ticket was purchased before she got her GC so we had it in her maiden name and would use her passport for travel. Our lovely, and oh so bright, TSA agent in Reno looked through my wife's passport and told us that her K-1 Visa was expired. I told her that we knew that but we weren't traveling internationally. She reprimanded me and told me that my wife needed to get an extension on the K-1. I told that she did not as she already had her GC which she asked to see. She then stated that the GC name doesn't match the ticket (duh, that's why we were using the passport!) Before letting us through she again reminded us that my wife needed to get an extension on her K-1. Gotta love the TSA! :bonk:

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
