E-mail notice - RFE

I just checked my e-mail and they sent me a notice that they mailed me a request for evidence, but it didn't say what it is for.

I am very upset as we sent everything, absolutely everything that we can possibly send.

Does anyone know if 1-800 reps would tell me what it is for if I call them tomorrow.

No the 1800 number will not be helpful, they will only be able to tell you what you see on your screen, that you have one in the mail... If you dont recieve it within 30 days then you can get a infopass appointment and try to get a hold of it... just make sure your name is on the postbox and that your post office will be able to deliver it.

Thanks for the info. I am not even sure why they send these e-mails if they don't say what it is regarding. So people can worry about it until they get the actual mail??

i think the post people are in on it. they want us to be excited to see them

i'll be happy with mine if he brings mine today. and gets his squeaky brakes fixed! LOL

thanks - it was. i received it today and had to send a copy of his 2005 W2 and 1040. again. easypeasy seeing as i'd sent it with my AOS and the copy of that package is at the top of the pile.

Does anyone actually receive AOS RFE's that are NOT for something that they already included in the original submission?

I guess you will to wait until you get the letter. Mine took forever and than it was so "stupid". I guess we can not do anything than just send them back wathever they want.

Finally, we got the RFE letter in the mail yesterday, and it is for tax returns (which we already sent), and employer letter ( my husband is self-employed, and we already stated that in the application).

Yeah exactly the same as our rfe...which we had already sent also
