My husband did his medical like a month a go so we can send off his AOS paperwork how long is the medical good for does it ever expire still trying to raise the money to send to paperwork off.

The medical office should of told you how long it was good for. General 6 months to a year is the standard time frame of validity. I would call them and ask them how long its good for just to make sure.

Note: The results of the medical examination are generally valid for only 12 months. Applicants should schedule the medical examination as close as possible to the time they file for adjustment of status, but provide sufficient time for the performance of laboratory testing or additional testing required under CDC's Technical Instructions.

An I-693 medical examination is valid for twelve months.

It should be noted that, once submitted to USCIS within that year of validity, the I-693 remains valid for as long as USCIS take to adjudicate the I-485, even if this is beyond one year. The only requirements for this to happen automatically is that:

(1) Your I-693 was submitted together with the I-485's initial filing.

(2) You have no class A or B medical conditions noted, other than a class B "other" condition.

Provided these two conditions are met then your medical will remain valid beyond the one year, provided that it was initially submitted to USCIS within that first year of validity.
