This is a cool idea developed by two young Americans who moved to my native Nicaragua. I don't even remember how I came across their site, but basically they sell cool bracelets online. For every bracelet they sell, they provide school supplies to a low-income child in Nicaragua.

When you get the bracelet in the mail, you will see it has a number. Then the peeps at LOOTB will send you an email and you will be able to see the child who you helped.

There are countless of charities around the world, but I like to help organizations or individuals who are trying to do more than just donate a couple dollars. I like the idea of giving school supplies because children then have an incentive to stay in school.

I know most people will just look past this post, but if you have time, please take a minute to visit their site or even better, buy a bracelet!
