I e-mailed him the same e-mail and got the same response. But then I e-mailed again asking if he knew any processing times and he responded in 7 minutes and said: I do not know any of the processing time information but I do know they are reallocating the files for processing times to go back to normal. At least we know it's not a robot. :) Or at least I think it's not!

I got the same generic response about an hour ago. It's not an automated reply, but judging by the response time and the email format that i received, I think someone at the ombudsman's office is manually going through the emails and copying and pasting the same response.

Just looked at mine again. It is not automated but they def copy and paste and my name was in a different font and size as the response. I wish they could just give us a time frame.

I responded to the emailed and asked if they knew how many additional officers will be assigned and if they had an estimate of how long it will take to get back to "normal processing times." They responded within 15 minutes and said that they had not been notified of how many officers will be assigned and does not have an estimate of processing time reduction....

Most likely they will adjust the processing time from July 18th to July 19th by the end of June 2013, that will be a significant step forwards in moving the processing times closer to normal.

I chose to email our form letter to the Ombudsman office and I sent a personal letter to the Director. I sent the email out Sunday and received a response this morning. I would like to copy the exact response here but there was a big warning at the bottom of the email response that said I need to get permission to forward the email.

Here is the content of the email:

The CSC processing time has slipped due to competeing agency priorities. CSC is currently shifting resources to address the I-129F. As resources are assigned the CSC expects the processing time for the I-129F to be reduced.

Guys,

Keep up the emails, keep up the letters, keep on writting your senators and congressmen. We are faced with a huge political battle and we are "David" in this battle.. Pressure,,Pressure,,Pressure is the only mechanism that will help us prevail. I beleive CSC is feeling that pressure now.

yep, we received the same response....

We received the same response earlier today but with the added info that the water damaged files were available to be worked on.

You could read into this that no files were damaged beyond repair if you were so inclined ;)
