but i dont think they allow visitors unless they have an appointement and valid visitors pass.. but if you pretend you are delivering a gazillion pizzas they might just let you in :D

I chose to email our form letter to the Ombudsman office and I sent a personal letter to the Director. I sent the email out Sunday and received a response this morning. I would like to copy the exact response here but there was a big warning at the bottom of the email response that said I need to get permission to forward the email.

Here is the content of the email:

The CSC processing time has slipped due to competeing agency priorities. CSC is currently shifting resources to address the I-129F. As resources are assigned the CSC expects the processing time for the I-129F to be reduced.

Guys,

Keep up the emails, keep up the letters, keep on writting your senators and congressmen. We are faced with a huge political battle and we are "David" in this battle.. Pressure,,Pressure,,Pressure is the only mechanism that will help us prevail. I beleive CSC is feeling that pressure now.

i sent an e-mail to the OLU last night, and got the same reply.

i suppose you changed the formulation a little because of the warning at the bottom of their mail. it seems a lot like an automatic response.

but still. if this is actually true, it can mean good news. thanks for posting this topic!

The Ombudsman office is the only place where you will get a straight answer, in my opinion and personal interaction with them.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

The Ombudsman office is the only place where you will get a straight answer, in my opinion and personal interaction with them.

That's what you get when you email Ombudsman: Got that this morning.

"The Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) processing time at the California Service Center (CSC) has slipped based on competing agency priorities. The CSC is realigning resources to address the processing times for certain forms to include the Form I-129F. As additional officers are assigned to this workload, the center expects to reduce the current processing time for Form I-129F."

I emailed the Ombudsman and got the exact same response as everyone here! It's either automatically generated or they just copy and past. It really does not give me hope and they are just admitting that "yes we are beyond the processing time" and they do not give us a time frame of when they "expect" to reduce the current processing times. :(

I e-mailed him the same e-mail and got the same response. But then I e-mailed again asking if he knew any processing times and he responded in 7 minutes and said: I do not know any of the processing time information but I do know they are reallocating the files for processing times to go back to normal. At least we know it's not a robot. :) Or at least I think it's not!
