For Chicago, alas - this has nothing to do with my logic. That pattern will repeat itself, ad.infinitum. To affect change, a wholesale replacement must occur, and no one will do that in Chicago.

You should hone your veiled personal attacks a bit, you are slipping today.

Except the pattern, so far, isn't repeating itself. That's the whole point. If patterns repeated themselves "ad.infinitum" then January this year would have been like January last year. Or the year before or the year before or the year before. Except it wasn't. The deadliest January in a decade and the numbers are still down from last year. Don't know if it will last, but these patterns are changing. They always do. Sometimes for the worse, sometimes for the better.

I'm not personally attacking anybody.

Posting stories from a year ago and acting like they're current is hilarious. So is defending it. :lol:

If the murder rate goes back up in the next few months, then we can claim that the decline was due to cold weather. I would imagine that most gangbangers don't clean their guns properly and the cold weather caused more jambs, hence the decline.

There was an episode of Twilight Zone where the protagonist is stuck in a time loop in which he always wakes up on the same day, and the entire day repeats itself over and again.
