Of course you can apply, but you will need to qualify based on your own Merrits. Do you have strong ties to your home country such as a job, a house, children you are leaving behind, etc? Those are the things that will help you get approved.

*** Moving from K1 fiance visa to Tourist visa forum ****

You can apply but a young, single woman with a US boyfriend will have a difficult time getting approved. Do you have good ties to your home country such as owning property, having minor kids you are leaving behind, a good job?

You may lok into meeting in a nearby country such as Mexico that it easier to get a visa for.

Do you really think she'd need a visa if she was from either of the last four options?

i think it's hard to get a tourist visa if you're a filipino, esp for those who have USC bf/gf, husband/wife. i've read thats it's good as denied. you have to prove a lot of things which is really hard to do.

my friend was denied even he was able to prove that he has a high paying job here, he have his own business, properties and a kid here.

maybe it's a case by case basis. there''s no harm in trying though.
