Hello everyone

I have a question for all you out there that have sent in your I-129F packets. I am 99% done with putting my packet together so i can send it out tomorrow and start the long dreaded 8 to 12 month wait :crying:

I just measured the thickness of the packet and it's just at 1 inch high, is this just to much information to send? I am just wondering how many of you have sent in packets that were this thick and if so was it a problem? I am front loading it a bit because my fiance is from Turkey and i just want to make sure he will have the best chance of getting his visa approved.

I know there are alot of you out there that just sent in the basic information and i really thought long and hard about just doing that but then i got worried  I think because we have a red flag becauseof the age difference (19 years) they will really look it over and i want to really prove to them that we are in love (L) and this is the real deal. Does anyone know if it's really hard in Turkey (Ankara) to get a visa approved?

Here is what i included in our packet:

Best of luck. I am not an expert and did engage a lawyer for processing . They asked for my finacials and maybe you have included them ( taxes , Bank accounts etc). But as I am not an expert maybe you don't need these till interview? But it cant hurt to include them.I also stated in my letter of intention to marry that I had the resources to support my finace and that was evidenced by my finacials

Although I did not send affadavit from family/ friends at submission stating their knowledge of our ongoing relationship as this would have taken more time. The lawyer has stated that we may get an RFE and so I am now compiling these. Also now that my fiance and I are processing the K1, I now keep all evidence to show at interview that we have on ongoing relationship ( Trip to meet family, family visiting us, Planning wedding etc.)

We are also an American/Turkish couple with 18 years age difference.

Best of luck

Jacqui
