Dear friends

I am based out of FL and my service center has been TSC

My I 130 was sent to NBC and I received the receipt with MSC number.

TSC shows processing time as 5 months

NBC does not show I 130

My pd is 12/3/2012 petition for my mom

Can I expect a approval in April this month...

Any idea which month application are TSC and NBC processing

approvals will come whenever they come, there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to it all

it is more than likely your petition was sent to a local field office

the steps you can take are to call uscis and speak with a tier 2 iso

ask where your case is and when it was moved if it has at all

if it went to a field office.. schedule an infopass

most likely you will be told you are still within normal processing times

same thing happend to me with the exception that i am unable to see the case status online and my wife's name was spelled wrong.. i have an infopass where my file was shipped to on april 12

the good news for you is that different people have posted recent approvals

I can't schedule an info pass based on the level 2 statement . I. Don't have a notice saying that the case has been transferred to local service center .

I am keeping my finger crossed hoping I don't get a RFE at the end of 6th month.

If my service center is TSC. Then the processing time is 5 months and my case enter 5th month on April 3.

I am bases out of Fl and my case is with NBC with MSC receipt number.

Nobody knows how long it will take! :) Some folks are having their I-130's approved in 40 days now. Others have been waiting months and months and MONTHS. It does look like the cases that go to MSC are being approved efficiently. Ours (IR-2) went to MSC, never went to a field office, and was approved in 60-something days. I think April is a reasonable guess for when your mother's application will be approved (it's at 4 months tomorrow). But it's just a guess... the service centers don't process applications in order really, though they give some kind of "official" dates on their website.

Since it is likely to be approved any day now - do you have all the documents for NVC ready to go? It will still take ~ one month for your case to be registered at NVC and for your case numbers and invoice ID numbers to be generated. But after that, it's up to you how quickly you proceed - people with everything ready to go have been getting through NVC in around 3 weeks.
