Hi everyone. I am about to submit our I-130 for my English spouse and we need some advice. I'm not sure if this is the right forum even! My husband arrived here in January for a 30 day stay (VWP) and we got married a week ago, completely on the spur of the moment, and for (we think) valid reasons he has remained here in the USA. We are about to submit the I-130 but I've read somewhere that we should also be submitting the I-485 at the same time. Is this right? I can't seem to find any information on it now. I've been looking on here for the right path to take but haven't managed to find any information yet. Where for instance do we send our application? I see lots of abbreviations without any explanation for us newbies as to what they mean, which is confusing us. IR-1, CR-1, K3 ??? . . what do we come under? Any helpful advice would be welcome. I am aware that we have taken a somewhat bold step by getting married whilst he was here on a VWP stay, but as I have said, there are mitigating circumstances which, for privacy reasons I do not wish to discuss in this forum. Thank you.

12/12/2011 - Welcome notice received
01/06/2012 - Green card received
09/06/2013 - File for Removal of Conditions
10/01/2013 - Biometrics for ROC
02/03/2014 - Card production email received

02/17/2014 - 2nd card production email received

02/28/2014 - 10 year Green card received

Moved from spousal visas to adjustment of status from work student tourist as the OP is trying to adjust status not apply for a spousal visa.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

My sons AOS and IV bill paid March 23rd (status in progress)
My sons AOS and IV bill shows as paid March 26
My IV bill paid March 26
Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th
CC on both cases March 30

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

September 2015, interview

October 23rd 2015, Oath ceremony!!!!!​​
