Again, you can correct the op without being so dramatic. You are entitled to your own opinion but you don't even know who I was referring to when I said that general statement. She came on here with good intentions an whether you did what she said or not it is everyone's responsibility to research and double, triple, quadruple check the way they apply for these things.

The way most people responded was so defensive as if she meant to mislead anyone. And if you see someone already responded to her post saying EXACTLY what u were going to say, maybe refrain from posting it. No body needs to see the same thing a million times, I'm sure she has no problem reading it the first time.

Had you read the OP's derogatory posts over the last few weeks you'd know why people reacted the way they did! a simple search will reveal all.

Yes, but filing the I-129 for the K-3 visa would allow the foreign spouse to reside in the US while waiting for the immigrant visa approval. They rarely make it to NVC these days, thereby making this track pretty much obsolete.

Ok, the K-3 is no longer used...

As part of a spousal visa chase it is free. We already paid $420 for the I-130, so if you want to try and chase the more expensive, obsolete k3, they let you file the I-129F for free.

Yeah that's what our lawyer did. Didn't help diddly-squat for our case.

There are also many people who have done nothing and still got approved in less than three months, and others who have done the same thing as you and are STILL waiting for months. There is no rhyme or rhythm to this process. Telling people that filing a I-129f will ensure them a faster approval IS spreading false information. Don't do it, please.

I am one of those that got approved in less than 3 months. My I-130 was approved in 37 days. I did not file an expedite request nor was I residing abroad with my husband.

There is no way to "crack the code" to this process. My only guess as to why I was approved so quickly is that my local office was not as overloaded with I-130 petitions as some of the other offices.

There is no "secret" for faster I-130 approvals.

I am the petitioner.

Hi All,

While Rhastyles did go a little too far, I think he did not mean harm. Just someone that is looking to help other people thats all.

I tell you, if you read a majority of posts on VJ you see a lot of Exaggerated negative posts...I guess he was not expecting it to be so smooth hence the excitement.

But Rhastyles sure screamed from the rooftop on this one.

Smith.
