We got our approval letter in the mail today. The case status online has not changed though..But i guess the letter is what matters.. It also says that we should expect our card within 60 days. The date of approval is 10/22/2013

Thank you all for being so wonderful and supporting each other.. Congrats to all those who got their card, and for those who havent yet, its just a matter of time before you get yours too.. so keep the faith..

That is correct, however the NOA1 and the biometrics appointment letter are in most cases received within a month of filing I-751. So it's safe to assume that the vast majority of people will get thei

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.

I've been checking this site almost everyday and based on what I have analyzed there are probably about 3 of us that are currently "active" that are still waiting for something from USCIS.

I am still waiting for the progress of my RFE response. Even though my 60 days isn't up, the fact that there are chances of something going awry I had to call USCIS to find out and confirm my response has been received. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by the customer service. The Tier 1 rep was very willing to link me to the IO and was very understanding of my situation. And the IO was also helpful in letting me know that my case was received and still being reviewed.

It appears that you are past the 6 months processing time, have you called USCIS yet?

Who's still waiting and active on this thread? Trying to figure out how many got approved and didn't update here on VJ.

4/24/13 - Submitted I-751 application

I understand the request will take a month to hear back on, which hopefully we will all be approved by then... either way, it was a relief to know our app was still in process instead of an RFE or approval sent to the old address. I don't know what could be causing our app to sit while others sail through - we have literally everything asked for provided and documented.

Hi all,

I recieved the letter yesterday regarding the approval of my application. It was approved on 10/22/13. I am really sorry but can somebody help me update the list above. I am having some browser issues.

Well, yesterday I opened the mailbox to find a letter from USCIS. It was a response to our phone call inquiry, and only stated that "your address has been updated with the new information given during your call." Thing is, we didn't update our address during that call. We moved over a year ago and updated then. I was getting ready to call back and find out what was goiong on, but I decided to check our case status online this morning. Card production ordered 10/30/13, card will arrive in 30 days.

I don't know if it was the phone call that helped, but that's what happened. Yours should be arriving any day now.

Yes your news give me more hope and I'd like to believe the phone call may have triggered it. It's probably sitting in the bottom of someone's pile and when you called it made them aware of it LOL

(about 2 months later)

11/21/13 - Service request via Tier 1 submitted

12/11/13 - Response to service request rec'd - vague info about processing times

12/12/13 - Service request via Tier 2 submitted

12/10/13 - APPROVED!!! (letter rec'd 12/14/13)

12/16/13 - 2nd Service request response rec'd

12/17/13 - Card production email/text rec'd (online case updated)!

12/24/13 - Notification rec'd via email regarding card mailed on 12/23/13 (online case updated as well)

12/26/13 - 10-yr card rec'd!

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.

Thanks! Yeah, it seems like that's what happened - nothing for 7 months, then right after a service request it goes through.

My dear friends!!! Today I received that special text messase that my case was updated. I checked it online and i found out that card production was ordered today (nov 1st). Whoa!!! Today is friday and first day of the month...lol... I couldn't wish a better way to end the week and to start the month . dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif
