Hello,

First I want to congratulate all the people that are already approved. I cant imagine the feeling!

I just wanted to provide an update. My case has been very difficult, to say the least. Only, until now I am receiving my biometrics appointment for 10/02/2013

with notice date of 9/11/2013.

This journey has taken a good part of my life... but hopefully and with God help I will get there. It is a very long story, which later on I will write for you guys.

I will try to go in for en early appointment as many other others have tried.

If somebody can, please update the list for me, I will appreciated.

6/11/13 - Biometrics done

9/21/13 - Submitted RFE response

9/23/13 - RFE response rec'd at VSC

(about 2 months later)

11/21/13 - Service request via Tier 1 submitted

12/11/13 - Response to service request rec'd - vague info about processing times

12/12/13 - Service request via Tier 2 submitted

12/10/13 - APPROVED!!! (letter rec'd 12/14/13)

12/16/13 - 2nd Service request response rec'd

12/17/13 - Card production email/text rec'd (online case updated)!

12/24/13 - Notification rec'd via email regarding card mailed on 12/23/13 (online case updated as well)

12/26/13 - 10-yr card rec'd!

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.

Hello everyone,

Just dropped in to say hi and to get an update for how April ROC filers were doing! I'm so glad to see so many people approved (and I'm sure there's more who just have forgotten to log in and let us know) as well as several RFEs pending, so most of these should become approvals, hopefully asap smile.png

As for me, I've been on vacation for 5 weeks (came back last week), am now over my jet lag laughing.gif and back to my daily life routine smile.png

Hope everyone still waiting gets their approval very very soon!

I haven't had time to read all of the pages I missed, but I read the latest posts and just wanted to tell trochero to hang in there, have faith and hopefully the rest of the process won't be as slow. Hopefully you will get your approval soon!

And big congrats to skynaut for the approval - looks like you are the latest approval in the thread! smile.png

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Hi all, they approved my case on Sept 23rd, shipped my GC on 25th, I got it on 27th, they never provided me with tracking number, but who cares right? It arrived so fast :)

Alright, we are too. Hopefully this gov shutdown nonsense won't delay us any longer. I've heard USCIS is affected, but I haven't looked into the specifics yet.

11/21/13 - Service request via Tier 1 submitted

12/11/13 - Response to service request rec'd - vague info about processing times

12/12/13 - Service request via Tier 2 submitted

12/10/13 - APPROVED!!! (letter rec'd 12/14/13)

12/16/13 - 2nd Service request response rec'd

12/17/13 - Card production email/text rec'd (online case updated)!

12/24/13 - Notification rec'd via email regarding card mailed on 12/23/13 (online case updated as well)

12/26/13 - 10-yr card rec'd!

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.

Ok, good to know - thanks. It's kind of funny if you think about it, because we pay for ALL government services, but I see what they mean - these are "fee" based, not the usual taxes they take from us.

Well, there is still hope for those waiting patiently. We rec'd our ROC approval letters in the snail mail today.

Our friends at USCIS must have been leaning into the government shutdowndancin5hr.gifas we never saw our online status change and did not receive text or e-mail notifications.

Kind of surprised really as we were expecting an RFE from a few of our circumstances which were not really addressed in our submission.
