When I studied accounting raw materials used to be managed and recorded based on LIFO (Last In First Out) or FIFO (First In First Out) or JIT (Just In Time) methods. With these practices you can guess the trend and see a bigger picture. God knows how USCIS processing works, no one can predict and guess about timeline or the outcomes. I guess they feel important and mysterious that way

And yes I saw the random early approvals and on the other hand people have been waiting FOREVER to get approvals. Hopefully we will hear soon. It would be very nice to hear in a month or two.

Yes I'm looking forward to this 4 days weekends too. My plan is to hike, getting closer to mother nature . I miss earthy feeling.

Hey... you going home, eat a lot of local food. That's what I miss. Food cooked by and mixed with mom's love. Yummy!!

Not really thinking about USCIS

Though I saw today that there was one CSC approval with a NOA date March 25, 2013 as well as a VSC approval with a filing date of March 21, which was quite startling

Also, 5 CSC approvals for Feb '13 filers , but no VSC February approvals .

The way USCIS processes petitions seems to be way random. There's still VJ filers from October, November, December, January waiting to hear back. So go figure

So who knows, some of us may actually hear back in a month or two...it is so random.

As for me though, I'm going back home on vacation mid August to mid September, so if I get an RFE while gone, it will have to wait until after I'm back. At least they give you 3 months to respond. Hubby is not coming with me this time, so he will be here checking the mail, but if we do get an RFE I don't trust him to put it all together by himself

I'm a control freak this way, so I will want to put the evidence together with my own hands

Puretaqwa - for NOA1 date, all is needed is the date on the NOA1 letter, not the date you received it. Let us know about that and we can update the list with your info

Hello and welcome to the April 2013 filers thread.

NOA1 date refers to the " receipt date" on your NOA1 letter. So if you can look at the letter and let us know the receipt date on it, that would be very helpful.

Also, do you happen to remember what date you had your early bio? (if not, that's not a huge deal, but the more info we can have, the more accurate our timelines are, and it helps other people compare).

Let us know so that we can have all the right details.

I'm going to go ahead and add you to the list now, and please come back and give us the additional info.
