I hope so. This is taking much longer than I expected. It seems things really slowed at CSC toward the last half of April. I will update when we receive our NOA1.

You make an InfoPass appointment, go to your local USCIS office and they put a stamp on your passport that grants you a 1 year extension of status. Same thing as the NOA.

I am in the same situation, I sent my package 4/15 and my check was cleared just on monday and no NOA yet, I guess we just have to wait. Good luck :)

Yes, you can. In fact you are advised to do so, and yes, they will stamp your passport. No idea what you should bring to your appointment though other than your green card and passport. Perhaps try calling the USCIS help line for information?

i got my NOA today and said that i got an extension for my GC i am afraid that may take them that long to remove conditions, some else got the same? thx

Congrats on your NOA! Well, everyone gets a 1 year extension, so that's pretty standard. Based on current timelines, removal of conditions takes between 6 and 8 months for most cases, occasionally a bit longer. That's the timeline you should prepare for.

My CR1 timeline (DCF London):
June 26, 2010 - civil wedding
Aug 2, 2010 - I-130 package mailed to the London Consulate (DCF)
Aug 9, 2010 - NOA1 (confirmation of receipt) via email
Sep 4, 2010 - religious wedding
Oct 21, 2010 - NOA2
Nov 25, 2010 - Case number received in the mail
Nov 29, 2010 - Medical
Dec 1, 2010 - DS-230I & DS-2001 forms mailed back
Feb 1, 2011 - Interview - APPROVED!!!
Feb 7, 2011 - Passport with Visa received via courier
June 7, 2011 - POE Los Angeles (LAX)
June 18, 2011 - 2-Year Green card received in the mail!!!

My ROC journey:
April 2, 2013 - I-751 package mailed to California Service Center

April 3, 2013 - NOA1 date
April 8, 2013 - check cleared
May 6, 2013 - Biometrics completed

July 25, 2013 - 10 year green card APPROVED!! (notification via text and email, and website updated)

July 29, 2013 - ROC approval letter received in the mail

July 31, 2013 - 10 year green card received in the mail!!!

My N-400 journey:

March 19, 2014 - N-400 package mailed to Phoenix, AZ Lockbox

March 24, 2014 - NOA1 date and Priority Date

March 27, 2014 - Check cleared

April 21, 2014 - Biometrics done

May 7, 2014 - In line for interview

June 23, 2014 - Scheduled for interview

July 28, 2014 - Interview - PASSED!!

July 30, 2014 - In line for oath

July 31, 2014 - Scheduled for oath

Aug 2, 2014 - Oath letter received

Aug 27, 2014 - Oath ceremony, I am a US citizen!!!

Sep 11, 2014 - US passport received

Hello! Please add my status, too.

Sent I-751 on April 16th, CSC received on April 22nd.

It assures me to know that I'm not an only one who is taking so long to receive NOA1. As of today, I still haven't received NOA1 yet, not to mention my check isn't cashed, either.

Sigh,,, well, hope we all receive it soon... Don't know why it's been taking so long.

don't worry I was on the same situation, I just got my NOA today , I sent my package 4/16. I was so nervous cuz of the time but I guess they take their time or they are so busy. good luck

When is the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? You need that date for the list wink.png
