Hi everyone I am new here, I am just worry because I read your post and seems that everyone gets response fast from USCIS about removing conditions from green card. I sent my package april 15 or 16 I guess pretty much on time my green card expires july 18 so I made sure I have it done on time. Even the check is not clear yet. Please help me....thank you very much

If there's one thing you take away from this crazy process, it's that nothing is certain and everyone's case is different. All we do here is track one another and try to gain some semblance of a timeline while killing time together in the waiting room! No one has any idea or vague concept of what the government will do, particularly how fast they'll do it. You just have to sit back and wait, unfortunately....particularly if you've filed at the California Service Center. They are notorious for being on their own clock.

Don't panic, I submitted our ROC packet on April 16th as well to the CSC and no cleared check or NOA1 here either. If you look at the timelines re-posted along the thread, you'll see many other people submitted their packets weeks before us without any luck, so we're still in line I'm afraid. My husband's GC expires at the end of June, but no need to worry. If you get to the point where you're a few days away from expiration just make an InfoPass appointment and you'll most likely get an extension stamp. Just read through the thread and all of your questions will be answered. Good luck!

Just checked my bank account – check is "processing" as of today! Waiting for the NOA1 now.

I was starting to get nervous again because I realized that I consistently wrote the wrong form number (I-571 instead of I-751) on my cover letter, but I was hoping that as long as I sent the correct form (which I did), the USCIS people would figure it out.

I'm also worried now that we didn't send enough supporting documents, reading through some of the things that other people sent and what kinds of RFEs others are getting, but I guess I can't do anything now but wait and see. If they ask for more evidence, they ask for more evidence... but at least my hubs is with me this time.

I never would have made these kinds of mistakes or under-prepared evidence when we were going through the CR-1 process, but I think I might have let my guard down a little this time around because I felt generally less stressed about it now that my husband is here. I may be kicking myself for this later, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

USCIS – 171 days
08.03.2010: Sent I-130 (Received at Chicago Lockbox on 08.05.2010 – Priority Date)
08.24.2010: NOA1 – Notice Date (Case transferred from CSC to TSC on 11.02.2010 and back to CSC on 02.07.2011)
02.11.2011: NOA2 – Approved! (hard copy received on 02.17.2011)

NVC – 46 days
02.26.2011: Got NVC case number from AVR (entered on 02.24.2011)

Ugh, stupid California Service Center! I really wish I lived in the VSC range.

For the longest time, CSC was faster by 1 month, on averge from start to finish, than VSC; but I guess they slowed down...

So our papers were received on the 16th April 2013 and we received an I-797 NOA on May 02nd 2013, stating that my conditional resident status is extended and that I will have to go out for the fingerprints at a ASC.

CSC has never been quicker for us. When we were going through the K-1 process it was insanely behind VSC. Now it's time for ROC and what do you know, CSC just arbitrarily stops working again. mad.gif

April 3, 2013 - NOA1 date
April 8, 2013 - check cleared
May 6, 2013 - Biometrics completed

July 25, 2013 - 10 year green card APPROVED!! (notification via text and email, and website updated)

July 29, 2013 - ROC approval letter received in the mail

July 31, 2013 - 10 year green card received in the mail!!!

March 24, 2014 - NOA1 date and Priority Date

If there's one thing you take away from this crazy process, it's that nothing is certain and everyone's case is different. All we do here is track one another and try to gain some semblance of a timeline while killing time together in the waiting room! No one has any idea or vague concept of what the government will do, particularly how fast they'll do it. You just have to sit back and wait, unfortunately....particularly if you've filed at the California Service Center. They are notorious for being on their own clock.

Don't panic, I submitted our ROC packet on April 16th as well to the CSC and no cleared check or NOA1 here either. If you look at the timelines re-posted along the thread, you'll see many other people submitted their packets weeks before us without any luck, so we're still in line I'm afraid. My husband's GC expires at the end of June, but no need to worry. If you get to the point where you're a few days away from expiration just make an InfoPass appointment and you'll most likely get an extension stamp. Just read through the thread and all of your questions will be answered. Good luck!

thank you very much, I feel better I was getting panic. I guess just need to wait, they took their time when I sent my package to get my conditional residence. I have another question any advice for the dmv my driver license expire same day as my gc (07/18/13), if i dont get my aproval ontime. thx

OK - After waiting for more than 30 days for our BIO appointment letter, I called them this morning and opened a service request to look into. They were very cordial and polite. They said we should hear something in 15 days...
