I-751 April 2013 filers

My package was received on the 12th of April and still my check has not been cashed!

This is sooooo strange!!!!! Why is it taking them so long? After reading other people's experiences on this forum from previous months, it takes VSC 2-3 days to cash in the checks!

Mine was received on Monday 14th. No check cashed and no NOA 1 - have you received anything?

No, NOTHING. This is so frustrating!!!!!

Just grab an appointment for the closest date you can. If your card expires before that, you can try and go in without an appointment, and maybe they will see you on an emergency basis. Don't hold me to that, because I really don't know, but if you're close enough to the office, it's worth a shot. Better they know you're trying to make sure everything is on the level than for another source to request your now expired card, and thus have all that hassle... you know what I"m saying???

Her GC expires today....no NOA1, no check cleared. There seems to be a backup at CSC again. I like seeing that extra $590 in my account, but I don't particularly like knowing her GC is expired today and I dont have proof. Not a whole lot we can do at this point though.

same date for us, same thing for us...you would think they would like to get paid. I thought checks were usually cashed within a few days haha.

Still nothing here either. His GC doesn't expire until June 29th though, so we have some time. It would be nice to get that check cashed though...

good for you for doing it early...my fault for leaving this until the last minute, doh! I am sure everything will be fine though

I'm so paranoid about this whole process! I make Google calendar updates years in advance haha. :lol:

LOL! I hear ya, I was that way also, I guess I have just become a little more relaxed over time since USCIS seems so relaxed on their processing timeframes Hope we all hear something soon. Here is our $590 X however many VJ April members + nonmembers, take it...I know you wanna!

Did you schedule an infopass? I thought if ur gc is about to expire ur supposed to get an infopass and get ur passport stamped. Or is it only if you're gonna travel overseas?

Hey everyone,

my check was finally cashed today on 22nd and i got my NOA1, as well. My ROC package was received on 10th and it took them 12 days, so i am sure soon you are all going to get a respond from the USCIS.

Nice! You're immigration twins! It's kind of funny, since I'm better at forms my husband sort of just lets me handle everything. He hasn't logged on here since he posted his embassy interview review back in 2011. :lol:

It's ok, when we eventually move to the UK I'll make him do all of my immigration work.
