Heya Vjers. Just wanted to pop this up. Don't know if it would help anyone but I figure it can't hurt to keep track. I recently was able to submit a service request on 3/17/2013 for being beyond processing time. I just recieved a response today. It's not conclusive just seems like a general yes we got it now the real office gets it type email.

Type of service requested:

-- Outside Normal Processing Times

The status of this service request is:

To better service you, your request has been forwarded to your application servicing office. You should receive an answer from that office shortly.

We shall see how long shortly is huh? :bonk:

Anyone else submit a service request recently? Any different response or did you get this one?

Yeah, my service request said to give them SIX MONTHS to investigate the case. I was frantic as hell. It really took about two weeks.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

Anything about them makes me frantic lol In a span of two weeks I had some one tell me they were working Sep cases to someone telling me they were working July. Thse were tier 2 ISOs I asked the second one if they keep notes cause it might help them keep their stories straighter. She kind of laughed a little and said this is just the way it is :bonk:

wow what a coincidence, looks like most of got the reply abt e-request(we submited it on 03/18/2013) on same day.. even i got email today which has nothing new in it. Standard blah blah ( below is the email).. does it mean they are trying to find our files and opening them now or just making some excuse to keep us calm for some more time?, anyways i have infopass appointment in 2 days and now i feel they will tell me the same.. asking me to waiting for 60 days as replied in the e-request email... It would be miracle if they tell me something else..lol

The status of this service request is:

Thank you for contacting us regarding the status of your application. Your case is currently under review. You should receive correspondence regarding the next process in your case within 60 days. If you have not received this correspondence within 60 days please make an appointment with your local immigration office or call the customer service number indicated below.

01/24/13 --- Called USCIS customer care and found that case was transferred to Local USCIS office (never got notice of it)
03/18/13 --- Submitted E-request as the petition is officially 180 days beyond
03/18/13 --- Tier2 ISO told the petition is at NBC.
04/01/13 --- We received email confirmation abt the E-request that we put in 2 weeks earlier
04/04/13 --- Went for infopass appointment at local office and they approved my petition and sent it to NBC
04/08/13 --- Received NOA2 today (date of NOA2 is 04/04/2013).

lol.. u won't believe, the last time i spoke to Tier2 ISO he said my case was transfered from Local office to NBC where the decision would be taken and he also said that my petition is 1 step below the final decision which might take 15-30 days, And today we got reply for our e-request with Standard wait for 60 days blah blah... we never know where our file is and if they really have it or not..

You can visit your Local office to confirm if they have your file. That is what I did.

You can visit your Local office to confirm if they have your file. That is what I did.

I had an infopass at my local office and he wouldnt tell me and my husband anything. I think its hit and miss.

Really? Nothing? Then what's the use of giving an infopass appointment? Didn't u ask him specific question? You have right to get information abt our petition, how can they not answer u?

lol.. look what just showed up after a long time on USCIS website... its say CSC is currently processing JULY 5th 2012 petitions..wooow... they haven't posted CSC processing time in this category for a long time and now they posted it with this date
