Hi everybody,

i'm the beneficiary, we got approved 20 days ago, my husband called NVC one time (last week) thez said thez have not yet received our case file from USCIS, i'm so confused about our case

with my husband work shedule and the connection at work he can not call everyday NVC OR USCIS

he may call today USCIS to ask them when thez sent our case to NVC ,

I'm available to call in any time :

i know i can not call USCIS , Can i call NVC to find out if there is any news about our case ?

if thez have the case in their system and thez have the case number thez can give it to the beneficiary? i just have a limited solde on my phone and i'm not sure if thez can inform both spouses or just the US petitioner ?

:help:

thank you

The petitioner AND the beneficiary can call NVC with no problems - however, if they haven't received your case they won't be able to give you much information. You need to get your husband to call USCIS to locate where your file is - whether it's been sent out, when it was sent out, etc.

Timeline

If it helps at all...

From the moment we got the approval of our I130, to the moment where we got our ID number... it was approximately one month (check my timeline)

It frustrated me at first that it took so long, but once it goes through the process is a bit more "hands on" (In the sense that the process at NVC progresses faster when you have the money and paperwork ready to be sent).

Hoping for a speedy NVC process for us all!

yes right ,i just need to know we are fine and NVC thez have our casefile, i try for some personal reasons to extend my probable US entry later ,i know as soon as we get the case number everything will be much easier than before when you have the money and the paperwork, i hope we can get the case number soon, because i'll neeed to be free for other things other than the process immigration , i hope good luck for everyone

Take a good look at my timeline and count the days from approval to NVC receipt. Go ahead, count them. And don't panic. :)
