Would love the feedback from some of the JA peeps who has been to the embassy already. I am about to send my Ds-230 form back to my husband who has all my other original and photocopies of documents required.

However, i have not yet done my police record certificate, but do not want to hold up the process by holding on to the ds-230 form to wait another week and half to get a police record certificate.

Question: Can i send the DS-230 without the police record now and take it to the interview in Kingston? Or must it be sent in to NVC now?

I suggest U get an expedited police record and send with docs to him, at times there are possibilities that

comes about where U can take to interview (taking a chance) nvc will send a rfe, and if its time U trying to

minimize get the certificate now , or wait for a very likely rfe and slow things down, they do expedite the records

just pay at tax office & get there before 3 pm

You should definately send the police record along with the DS-230.

You can pay at your tax office $2000 for express and $1000 for 21day service. If you go to Kingston for the police record you can wait and get it back same day if you pay for express. If you do it in Mobay you have to wait five days for express service.

You can go to http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_4354.html

Hey i dont think there is a same day service, but first you have to make the payment at the tax office for either 21 days or express with is about 7 days, then take the reciept with you to the place that you do the police report on duke street in kingston, and remember you will need passport size pics, I think you will need 2 passport pics.
