Hey ya'll- Rick and Jordan here. This is a random message sent to anyone who wants to comment...So we've been discussing the whole reason we joined this site was to gain insight into the process, but also to relate to other couples going through the same thing. We have not done a very good job at reaching out, but we would like to start building a network of friends so that when Rick finally joins me here in Tennessee that he has UK friends to relate to. Plus we love meeting new people:)So message us if you would like. Thanks.

Hi! Are you near a big city? We belong to a Meetup group: the Brits in Atlanta. We meet up roughly once a month and there is a real mixture of people. I'm amazed how many of us there are around Atlanta. Even in the small town we live in, we keep bumping into other Brits.

All the best,

Cathy and Trevor

Hey Cathy & Trevor! Thanks so much for the speedy reply. I live in Nashville, so I'm definately going to look up organizations to see if there is anything like what ya'll were talking about here. Thanks again for the advice. Sincerely, Rick & Jordan

The British Expats Forum has a whole, fairly active, section on meet-ups in the USA. You might find more folks from your area there, too: http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=112

The UK section of this forum isn't quite that developed (but I guess it could be!) so probably worth asking in there too: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/
