After 11 months of waiting CSC forwarded my I-485 to local service center. I don't know what they are doing and how long its gona take. EAD is going to expire next month. what should I do guys plz help me. I called senator regarding that but still nothing :(

Sounds like you are going to get an interview.

I would think the same. I would suggest to renew your EAD/AP now anyway, it's still free as your AOS is still pending.

How do you know that CSC forwarded you case to local office ? ( Did it update online or they sent any letter in mail )

Reason i am asking is , we went through the same .. when called to open a service request we were told it has been transferred to the local office , but fact is - it was always at CSC. We got our approval last weem ( in the 10th month )

I have the same question. How do you know that it was forwarded to the local office? Our 485 is still in the acceptance stage on the USCIS. We are going on 9 months with no update. When we spoke with USCIS they tell us the case in our local office, but nothing else tells us this?

After the service request was put in the USCIS response was “we are actively processing this case, if you don’t have a decision or update from us in 6 months you may call again”.

I think it’s all a game and there is absolutely no help calling them, service request, info passes or Congress. In the end you are at their whim and there is nothing to do but wait and see.
