know exactly how your all feeling, Im not far behind you guys as I am an august 20th filer and this is becoming ridiculous. Into the 7 month period now and USCIS approval is only the first stage of the process... How much longer CSC??? My mind is a little at ease knowing that there are other people going throught the same thing as my fiance and I.. But I still can't help but feel disappointed in CSC and their efforts. Have lost alot of respect for them as they do not even update their processing info, and tend to keep feeding us bulls###. Tired of being kept in the dark throughout this process and not knowing when we're going to be approved. For those of you in the same boat try to keep your chin up and stay positive. Sooner or later they will have to get their act together and process some K-1's ...You just might be next in line :)

We can't even ask CSC any questions about why it is so slow (even though we know it is the DACA applications mainly) My fiance tried and they hung up on him when he asked. It's pretty disgusting realy.

Wow..i find that so disrespectful. I worked too in call centers, but if we ever did that, we would have big problems with our team leader. Did your fiance got the name of the person who hang up on him? Maybe he can make a complaint about it? :D

No he didn't ask for a name. He's not very confident dealing with calls like that. We were on skype together when he called. I couldn't believe it either and all he asked was how come they were still working on July 18th after so many weeks and could he speak to a supervisor/tier 2 please and that was the end of the call!

For what it's worth, I'm currently working on a model to predict completion dates based on different forecast scenarios. I'll have this up for everyone to use within a day or two. But, in the meantime, it's saying as a preliminary matter that--under the worst case scenario (i.e., the low completion rate of January has continued and will continue indefinitely)--you should be approved around April 22.

Next time he calls them, not only USCIS, but other call centers too, always write down the name of the person he talks to. You paid an amount of money for their services and it's not fair how you were treated.

That;s the worst case scenario? that's a good scenario, i would say, seeing how they deal with I-129fs at CSC. I got used with the idea, that if we get approved before 1 year is over, i'm a lucky girl. I don't even feel anger anymore, I just want this nightmare to be over :(

I've seen it. I created the big CSC data thread and the thread about how to contact elected representatives about the problem. Since then, I've been focusing on making the completion predictor algorithm, but I think my next endeavor will be focused on contacting newspapers and other media about the problem. I'm honestly not sure a form letter to the director of the CSC will get anything but ignored, though I do support individuals sending him individualized messages.

Well, technically it's not the worst-worst case scenario, but I think it's the worst likely scenario. Of course the worst case scenario involves the number of 129Fs completed per month to have dropped closer to 0 than what they accomplished in January (when they only churned out 537 completions total, or ~19 per day). Given the anecdotal data on here, however, I'm fairly sure they have kept that extremely slow pace going. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself before I have this model finished (there are still some kinks because, frankly, some of the USCIS data I am basing it on is either incomplete or doesn't really make sense), but I think it's fair to say based on what I do have that those who are in for the really big delays are those who filed after September, 2012.

I'm on the same day... July 30th. I have tried everything and now i just accept it. I think I went through all the stages : Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. I leaving back to Bangkok (from Chicago) to be with my fiance tomorrow.... maybe I will then not think about it so much. I hope you get it soon!

I know this thread is about K-1 visas and it totally sucks that you guys can't be with your loved ones! Just thought I'd share that they're not only far behind on K-1's but also AOS's too. Today is my husband's 11th month waiting for his green card! (It was transferred to the CSC May, 2012) Something needs to be done!
