Jamaica Portal....I need help filing, I'm an October 10 filer from vsc. I hoping that soon we will get our Noa2. I was wondering is there anything i can my fiance try now so that when he is approve we won't be waiting door other documents? I ask my lawyer and she seems to be no good, she's telling me to wait until we get or approval to get the rest of the things. Help please

Thanks so much. Where do you go to get a non impediment and what is it? Also if he got his passport last year in July do he have to get it renewed?

If he just got his passport, it is good for ten years. Here are some links of information to help you.

The non-impediment is proof that you are free and clear to marry. You get that at the http://www.rgd.gov.jm/
