The PCC will be sent with the other documents to the embassy after an interview date is assigned, so the embassy will have it for the interview.

Glad it's finally working!

Definitely don't listen no0pb.gif Call back again tomorrow!

I'm betting they reviewed and accepted your AOS package! Call up asap to confirm. They're still open for another 30 minutes!

The interview can be assigned any time between 7am to midnight while they're open! If you're waiting on an email notification though, you can receive this at any time (24 hours a day) and any day of the week since emails are delayed. My interview was scheduled on a Friday yet I only received notification around 6am on Saturday.

Thanks Saylin for the info

Just got an RFE today for the W2 even though I have already shown that I did not work in the States throughout 2012 hence I do not have any W2 :(.

Can I just send an explanation letter to them with the checklist or can I call them to explain to them to solve this RFE without sending in anything ? Do any of you have any experiences with dealing with RFE simply by calling instead of mailing in ?

post exactly what you got, here, redacting personal info.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Just post the exact Checklist message on what is requested.

In addition call the NVC to clarify the checklist details.

I got two RFE. I believe this one is the false checklist for IV:

______CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

address provided.

______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

The National Visa Center is waiting for an Immigrant Visa Application to be submitted for this case.

The Principal Applicant and any other Applicants who will be accompanying him or her to the United

States must now download and complete an Immigrant Visa Application; please visit the following

website for instructions:

http://immigrantvisas.state.gov (click on the link for "submit Visa application and civil documents")

Please submit the Immigrant Visa Application form(s) and required supporting documents for each

Applicant in one package to the National Visa Center; sending this information separately will delay

your visa.

______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________

A review of the I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A (if applicable) Affidavit of Support form and

supporting documents that you submitted has revealed that you have provided incomplete information in

your response or you have not responded to some questions.

Please pay specific attention to the questions marked in the attached I-864/A checklist. You will need to

complete and submit a new form with the changes noted on the attached checklist.

You will need to follow the instructions for the Affidavit of Support (I-864) that are posted on the

Department of State website at the following address:

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov. From there, you can fill out a new form online, print the new

completed form and mail it to NVC. If you are the Petitioner, please read all instructions and complete

the correct form to submit to NVC. An Affidavit of Support form is required to be submitted from the

Petitioner on each case regardless of his/her income level.

NVC will hold this case until you send us these needed items. When you return the documents to NVC,

please make sure that the documents submitted are in the correct order and stapled together, as stated in

the I-864 Important Notice instructions.

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

address provided.

This is the real check list:

Checklist for I-864 (filed by **Petitioner's Name** )

The NVC has reviewed the financial evidence submitted. However, additional information is

required to complete the financial evidence review. Please provide all requested documents and

refer to page two for mailing instructions.

General Instructions

[x] The checklist below indicates missing or incomplete documents.

Supporting Documents Missing or Incomplete

[x] The submitted income tax documents/IRS statements for the years marked below are missing/incomplete (if

you have lost any of the requested tax information, contact your local IRS office to obtain a copy) (Only

Federal returns (not state or local) are acceptable unless the sponsor's income was earned in Puerto Rico.)

• W-2 forms are missing/incomplete for the year(s): [x] 2012 [ ] 2010 [ ] 2009 [ ] 2008.

[s6S 04/18/2013] **Case Number Here**

In my cover letter, I already mentioned that I was already working in Singapore and I sent my Federal Tax Return + Form 2555 + Form IR8E (in Singapore they use form IR8E instead of W2).

Can I just call them explaining that I do not have W2 as my company is not based in US or has any connection to the US and Form IR8E was the only form I was issued or do I need to mail in my explanation letter with the checklist?

I'd call up USCIS tomorrow to confirm the case was indeed sent out. Call at least 5 times tomorrow, spread through the day (while they're open) and make sure all 5 say the same thing. If they all do say the case was sent out, then start calling NVC on Monday, and every day afterwards until you get the case number.

Good luck!

Keep in mind, if you want, you can try expediting your case due to it taking so long for the approved petition to get to NVC. It's worth a shot and I've seen people get approved for this reason in the past!

Saylin thank you for the response sorry for late replying on the message. Another question how can I request for expediting my request. and to whom Im gonna address it. thank you.
