I would hope so! After all that nonsense you had to go through just to find your case, I might've just given up if I were you and they'd given me the wrong case number. wacko.gif Congrats on finally getting back on track! kicking.gif

I wanted to thank you for replying back to me, but I decided to send my stuff in anyways...hoping everything goes good...

And that sucks about your documents! I've read about that happening and my thing is, how can they tell this stuff isn't original or certified?

Someone needs to do their job!!

Hi , we have the same situation . They are so dumb that they can't even tell whether it is a certified copy . If so, why don't they ask for original copy at the first place instead of wasting of our time . Though I have explained the situation to them and requested for second review, we still go ahead mail in the original . Don't want to waste anymore time.

Just checked. I can go ahead for my medical. Its good for 12 month. (get this out of the way)

My DS-230 has only 11 papers to submit. (not to bad)

I signed another FC-029 (that all copies are of originals, and originals will be shown at interview)

The only original I send is my International Birth certificate. (I will get another one)

I do have to send the DS-2001 readiness for interview.

I'm so ready..and yet I'm not...

I'm looking at the c.e.a.c. website, and when I click on the button that will tell me what documents to send (MEP #), I get a page not found pop up. I know they want them in PDF form and I know what the documents are from reading these forums. I am not sure though if they want them titled a specific way, what order they should be in, and is it the same email address they send out on all their forms? If this is answered somewhere else my apologies, I tried searching first, with no luck. Thank you

have someone re-review that because..that is a load of *insert not so nice word here* :innocent:

Yeah... I doubt they'll accept after the review, something must be legimately wrong with them, i'll just have her get the documents again to the letter, maybe the stamps on them were wrong or something.

That's what I got! My husband sent English Nikkah Papers, which were rejected at first but later got ok. But I had to apply for Birth certificate issued from Nadra now, though sent the translated version of the original. Lets see what happen now. Btw I don't know what do you mean by certified here, but I sent the original translated version of birth certificate attested from the issuing authority still wasn't accepted

We sent them the english + urdu hybrid versions, not sure if they didn't like the stamp on them or what, not sure. It was the printed type, from NADRA, whatever, a month wasted in the end. sad.gif

They have to be in pdf form, preferably all in ONE pdf as an email attachment. The order does not matter as long as they are in the order on your cover letter that you type up. Saylin has an example in the NVC for Montreal wiki which will also work for Mexico. Just make sure each document has the case number on the top, that your email has your case number in the subject line, that you have the bar-coded cover sheet first, and that your cover letter you type also has your case number on it. My order was Barcode sheet, cover letter, pic 1, pic2, birth certificate front, birth certificate back, bio passport page, marriage certificate, police certifiate. But you don't have to do it in that order, just as long as you have all the pages. In the email you have to put beneficiary's and petitioner's names, dobs, and emails. You send it to the NVCElectronic@state.gov that you send the OPTIN email.

All the instructions are in Saylin's wiki for Montreal. You do it exactly the same! :D

Keep on them!!! Call again today and if you get the same thing I'd ask to speak to a tier 2 and see if that gets you anywhere. If they want something specific whether native language or english then it needs to say that. If your wife can get the documents in BOTH languages maybe that would make them happy. Try to just breath through it. Remember you are very close now. I know that you are worried for her off time in school break, but remember you can use that as a means to ask for an earlier interview date. Never hurts to try. The fact that you are trying to time it between her semesters at school does show priority over some others I would think.

I will but I think the stamps on the document may have been incorrectly applied, so i'm just playing it safe and my wife is going to get the documents again to the T according to the checklist. sad.gif
