NVC Filers - April 2013

OMG NVC going in snail's speed, this is frustrating . over the last one month NVC took exact 10 days to reply our emails. (all the mails i sent to them)!.

does this happened to anyone of you??

any advice to speed things up? we have send all the necessary documents to NVC and they confirm that with a email also.

its almost 9 months now since we send our i130!

You need to realize that NVC receives HUNDREDS upon HUNDREDS of emails per day, possibly even THOUSANDS. It's going to take awhile to reply to emails. Typically 1-2 weeks. This happens to everyone. You need patience in this process...

hey no offense guys just wanted to relieve my stress. I'm a very patience person but this visa process hit the maximum level.

Anyways have a great news i got my interview date on July 11th

Hi every one.

I received my NOA2 about 12 days ago. since then I have been calling NVC to get my case number but they have all the time told me that it could take bout 8 weeks for them to receive my case . has any one been in the same situation? Is it really gonna take 8 weeks for NVC to receive my case? are they oing to give me my case number as soon as the receive the case or am I going to need to wait more even after that?

First off, April is way in the past Click on either of the last two links in my signature. It'll bring you to the current July thread

To answer: yes, once they receive the case at NVC, it'll take some time for them to input the case and generate a case number. This can vary from a day or two to a week or two. There's really no set time frames as it's always changing.

Hi Saylin!

First of all, HUGE thank you for all the info!!! It helped me a lot!

I have only one concern and it's about DS3032 supervisor review email. I think it either never worked or worked differently before. I did send a second letter to supervisor and next day got reply, but on my FIRST one. So I thought it's just a coincidence and second letter didn't really help. Now I'm sure 100%, because I just got reply on my second supervisor email and it took same amount of time - 15 days.

My point is, this letters are making additional unnecessary backlog. More petitions are getting approved and from recent observations it takes not less then 2 weeks to get DS3032 approved these days. So more people will send useless second letters.
