I know according to the instructions you must fill out all but in this case it said......part 25 this is where you write all your hubby previous taxes return (2012 2011 2010) it doesn't match up with his w-2. Here the confuse part of w-2 is if he enroll in company 401K, you must report the actual wages after 401K. On W-2 will shown 2 incomes one of them is your hubby actual making and one he actual bring home after 401K.

I don't think they complaints about the zero here but what you actual reported on your AOS.

I thought Part 25 is referring to the petitioner's income and not household income that's why I put $0.00.

Anybody in here who file taxes jointly and is the petitioner who is unemployed/homemaker for years (2010-2012)? What did you put on Part 25? I just wanna make sure I did it right before mailing the AOS tomorrow. Thanks...

Everyone has been saying it's okay to send.

I didn't wait for it to say anything different.

I paid and sent my packet off (of course I'm EP so that's different)

Also, can someone tell me what is the POINT of the IV fee being invoiced after the AOS fee?

What purpose is it that I just sit sit sit.

Is it just so that they don't get everything at once?

I guess I wouldn't understand the point in that either though.

KDH, I am guessing that they have a department that processes one, and another department that processes the other, and they are trying to minimize the chances that the file will actually be in the possession of one department being processed when the other department needs it.

But on the other hand, that might make sense.

Forget it. :)

My two accepted emails came from two different depts or at least two different people. I can tell because was one was a reply and the other was a new email. I think they'd do well do do away with the choice of agent form that generates the IV bill and just invoice out automatically like the AOS. Seems like a pointless form.

If that's what they base invoicing on, then major fail.

Considering the 261 is the FIRST thing I did.

How long do the IV documents take to fill out online?

I'm going to be in the states next week so I'm wondering where I'll find time to do it >=[

Took me maybe an hour or two but I had those 18 addresses. Less would take way less time. I had the PDF email ready to send already too.

Ds-261 took time for them to process, just like the AOS package and IV packages do. You have to think of it like its own package. The annoying part is thinking of the OPTIN email as it's own package too. It's silly but I'm happy to email vs snail mail so if I have to add a few days for things, I don't have to add a few plus shipping!
