That error message typically indicates that a bill is being invoiced.

Are you logging onto the payment portal on IE? Don't use any other browser for this...

It's possible you need to include extra documentation in the IV package. Like, if one was previously here in the US on a J1 visa, they need to prove they've completed the 2 year residency requirement. But, it doesn't apply to everything. I was previously in the US for two years on a L2 visa, but I never needed to show any documentation. It varies by situation.

If you just sent the DS-3032, it's currently taking 1-2 weeks to reply, so definitely nothing to worry about yet for that.

If you're getting an error message like that, then the numbers are wrong. You're putting in the entire case number (including the 3 embassy letters)? You're putting the IIN in the right spot? If so, you may want to call up NVC and verify those 2 sets of numbers.

Yes saylin I did put the numbers in correctly, so i will call and confirm with them then..thank you.

Neither. That means you received the AOS instructions from NVC. I personally never got the AOS instructions (only the IV one), so don't fret if you didn't receive them.

Does it mean my DS3032 has been Approved!!!????

No. this form is never 'approved' but it is acted upon.

A Human read it, did some clicky things and got it pegged in the casefile and added to the casefile.

NOW that it's added to the casefile, that IV fee bill will be generated.

what does "receive I-864 package" refer to on my timeline?

Is that when someone actually acknowledges getting it?

Or when I send it?

these days, it's the day the coversheet shows up for download on the payment portal.

USED to be that this was a timestop thingie - as it would show up after the AOS was marked 'paid' but now you can get the AOS coversheet without paying.

So. ages past, when in 'postal processing mode', this was the actual date that the I-864 formset collection showed up to the Petitioner's postal address.

IMO, it's predicated and needs a total refactor.

bleh.

oh does "return completed i-864" refer to when I turn it in?

I think so, yes, makes sense to me, I guess I should fill that part out.

Yes !

It's been a week and my IV payment still hasn't been cleared. I already sent in my IV application by email. Not sure if it's been processed. I called the NVC today and the operator told me to wait a few more days and then do DS-260.. very confused. Did anybody here encounter this problem? I wonder if my process is been stalled because of this.

DO NOT SEND THE DS-260 !

note the disclaimer in the wiki :

The NVC Tele-Operators are brain-dead - trained to listen for 'DS-3032' and know NOTHING about the electronic processing system (but they are totally coachable, if you know what to say to them ).

It's interesting an NVC TeleOperator spoke of DS-260 - it's a sure sign that that human knows nothing of EP for Guangzhou as the DS-260 is EP for Montreal.

What was your question again ?

At this point, you should call back, ask for a supervisor, and talk about WHEN the IV set is detached from your email and added to the casefile. Don't bother with a TeleOperator, the first human that answers the phone.

Yes. The fund was cleared from my bank the second day. But the NVC payment website still showing "IN PROCESS". The operator told that it's taking longer than normal in their system. Very frustrated...

It's a bug, recently reported in this thread. GRRRRR.

We call USCIS but they never give us any information. they only says they have to wait till 90 days to send it for review. as pet NVC research it tool them 2 months to locate it. And finally it went to NVC last monday. we never ask assistance to a senator and congressman. because the more you ask help to high authority the more USCIS will hold the petition. what I did I send a follow up letter to nvc research and we let NVC and Uscis communicates. but finally it went thru in NVC im just hoping my consulate will be in singapore. and not in manila. because its much convenient for me here. than going home for interview and take a leave from work. just waiting for the case number lol

I gots my ILS Human involved, and that casefile left the local USCIS office 31 days after it was approved. You might want to get an ILS human involved, it sure was useful to me !

also, if yer not talking to ISOs at the USCIS call center, you're setting yerself up for disappointment. CSRs don't know sh|t, and make up stuff all the time, as they can't see anything on your casefile in the computer. an ISO, OTOH, can.
