I was analyzing the timelines, and most people have an interview within 3 - 4 months of an NOA2. If you're waiting on your AOS/IV packets to be reviewed, you should get an interview in late May to early June depending when in April you get case complete. It's usually about 1 - 1.5 months after case complete.smile.gif

I hope to get a case complete in a week or two and then i want a may interview, desperately :)

Guys, I paid my AOS and IV bills on the 29th of March and they are still in process!! I am little concerned now, cause I am planning on sending my packages tomorrow by over night mail! Should I wait till it shows paid, cause that won't be a good thing if they get it and it's still not paid! :S

I replied to your post the day you received your Fee Bills and paid them. I suggested that you send them in immediately with their respective "Cover Sheet". No sense in waiting to show as paid. If there is an issue with your payment you will just pay again the correct way,,, right?yes.gif

Now I have questions.

DS-230 is $230. What is about the surcharge $74 ??? Where will I pay this one ??? Attach to the DS-230 and pay $304 ???

I only received 4 pictures.

2 pics for DS-230

1 pic for medical

1 pic for interview......is this correct ?

This is the first ive heard of any surcharge. What is it?

Sonjat, it best that you look up US Embassy in Germany online, every country is little different and other pay $425 prior interview is done and + postal fees after interview for your visa. All this happen at time of interview.

DS-230 you only need to pay what shown invoice online via web portal, I assume $230 for IR5 and $88 for AOS and other fees are at interview is different.

please tell us EXACTLY where you saw the surcharge of 74 bucks? paste the url, or refer to some paper instructions, noting the OMB doc number and expiration date.

Thanks in advance !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thank you so much. I wasn't to incorrect. The surcharge is for the DHS to maintain documents and produce the GC later.

Except they raised the fee to $165 (my country)

To be paid after visa approval and before departure to the U.S.

What I have now is AOS $88, DS-230 $230 and my so called surcharge $165 + postage for passport to be returned.

Its truly in the details for me. :bonk:
