speedwell, you are so organized! I like it. good.gif

Could you tell me what did you include in the "front loaded stuff"?

I am preparing this packet for my mom, so we might have different "stuff" to send, but still wanted to check.

Thanks!

Our case is weird because we didn't include any supporting relationship evidence with the I-130, so we have to do it now.

There's a lot of stuff we don't have because we don't use credit cards, don't own a house, don't have kids, etc. We also think that our Skype logs and e-mails are none of the State Department's bloody business. We think we put together a pretty solid case without that:

- Documents from my company's Human Resources department showing him as my named spouse and emergency contact, and the beneficiary of my life insurance and 401K. (We will not put him on my health insurance until we know when he will be in the US.)

- Our previous and renewed apartment lease that names both of us and that we both signed.

- Statement pages showing general (not specific) activity in joint checking and savings accounts.

- Policy documents for our previous and renewed car insurance policy in both our names (he will not be a named driver, however, until he gets a US driving license).

- Travel itineraries of the times we traveled to see each other and visit each other's family

- 60 or 70 photographs taken over the course of our relationship and marriage

There's lots more you could include that we didn't have or didn't want to put in. Don't go nuts though. Quality over quantity.

Oh, ok, it's the relationship evidence stuff. I've seen that phrase "front loaded" here before, but could never figure out what it's for.

I think for our "relationship" I'll just send my own birth certificate again, even though I already did with I-130.

Thanks!

When I send my AoS packet I can send it in one big pdf?

Yep I did! :D Just use acrobat to shrink it so it's emailable.

Not a problem. I PDF for a living.

Can someone link me to a checklist for the AoS packet?

I feel like all the research I've done has run away from my brain.

I think I found one:

BARCODED Cover Sheet (to be printed from web when your status is PAID online for AOS bill)

Your OWN cover sheet listing what documents are in the package, so they're easy for the reviewer to locate

Completed I-864 signed

Original Employment Letter

Most recent tax return (all forms)

Copy of PAY STUBS for current year (showing how much money you have made year to date)

Last 3 years Tax transcripts, W-2 and/or 1099 (any source of income) OPTIONAL

SPONSOR: I-864 + all above documents for sponsor. Each sponsor that lives in the same household as the petitioner, should use I-864a, instead of I-864

Is this missing anything?

And, I thought I couldnt' get the barcode sheet until it's paid.

I think I read it's okay to not have it since I'm EP right?

No you can get the barcode sheet WHEN you pay not when it shows paid. You still need it for the front (it's just checklist barcode sheets that you don't need.)

I included:

bar code sheet

cover letter

I-864EZ (all pages)

Last 3 tax transcripts (all 3 were 3 pages each)

6 months of pay stubs from Sept - end of March.

Each paper except the first two had our case number in the top right corner.

Yeah mine is (1) page with info on the front and back.

I just ordered 2012 last week so it hasn't come in yet.

I'll have to turn in my actual returns for now.

But I can't find the scan from my mom of the W2s >=[

Congressman just heard from the consulate, they didn't approve the expedite. Oh well. The case is approved and waiting for the interview. The liaison sounded upset. Anyhow, she requested I let her know of the scheduled interview date so that she can write a letter to the consulate on the behalf of the congressman requesting full and fair consideration. Would this letter be helpful / detrimental or neutral?
