While nvc is part of the department of state they only use the dos website. Dos needs to fix their own website.

On a hunch I just called the DOS. The nice operator told me that the NVC is seeing my payment as "Paid" and what I see on the payment status portal is different from that. She assured me that our case will not be delayed. Gee whiz!

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

I called to get my NVC case #, however they are saying that I will receive an email within 2 weeks. It already has been a montth and 2 days. Is this something normal?

I also wanted to know if I can pay my receipt, since I know my case number?

It's been taking as much a several weeks to get a case number after the NOA2, yes.

You also need an Invoice ID number. You can call the NVC to see if one has been generated for you yet.

The online payment portal has been having trouble, so don't get too freaked out if no invoice appears. I'm not sure how they plan to fix it, but you can always call and ask what they recommend to avoid delay.

Ohh, I got my case number, they are telling me that it will take several weeks for me to get the email. It doesn't make since to me that it only takes a minute to send the email if I am already assgined a case number.

But I'll just go ahead and ask for the invoice ID # to make the payment.

Don't worry abt the email. Remember not everyone calls or knows to call so they get information way later.

You need to call nowish and get your IIN and hopefully you are invoiced any day now.

Hope you read the first two post and have your AOS and IV/DS-230 packet ready.

The only email you will care abt and need is the P4 interview date email.

Hiiii dwheels *waves* School's going good. I'm graduating this May 10th :) Currently doing my internship, so I've been a little busier than usual and I'm not at my computer all the time, thus I have to wait until I get home to reply to this thread (which typically means going through 2 pages! laughing.gif).

How you been doing? Good, I hope...

Ok so I got the PC today.

Silliest thing I've ever seen!

It's just a piece of paper saying that nothing came back basically with the city's logo on it.

I guess this is it? lol

It DID say they checked the local and Canadian Information whatever.

I forgot it in the car, but I'm pretty sure it's the Canadian Info thing someone told me it had to mention.

Can someone just confirm I'm doing this all right?

I have paid the AoS fee, so it's in process and i'm just waiting.

Electronic processing was JUST finally accepted.

IV hasn't been invoiced.

I think right now I just wait, right?

I can't actually send anything in yet?

As long as it mentions that the national database was checked or CPIC, you should be good to go. Here's a scan of what mine looked like (with personal information redacted): http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/smurf47/policecertificatesample_zpsb5fcf2a8.jpg

If you paid the AOS fee, you can email the AOS package (since you were accepted into EP now).

Once you pay the IV fee, you can email the supporting documents, then fill out the DS-260 online.

I normally tell people go ahead and send in their AOS paperwork as soon as the portal shows IN PROCESS, but as the portal is borked and I don't know anything about EP, I'm not sure... I think it's more likely than not that your AOS fee will clear your bank before the NVC looks at your AOS packet, though. Any other EP users?

speedwell, you are so organized! I like it. good.gif

Could you tell me what did you include in the "front loaded stuff"?

I am preparing this packet for my mom, so we might have different "stuff" to send, but still wanted to check.

Thanks!
