Help!!!!!!! I received this letter a minutes ago, but I don't know if it is a false checklist or not...

We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant

visa. Please review the information listed under each applicant's name and provide any documents

which are indicated as missing or need additional information. You must submit the required

information. Failure to provide the requested information will delay your immigrant visa interview.

Please read the enclosed information to determine where to send all required copies of missing

documents. If you have any questions regarding this letter, please call the National Visa Center at (603)

334-0700 between the hours of 7:30am and midnight ET.

Please include a copy of this letter with your correspondence and write your case number clearly (exactly

as it appears below) on the upper right-hand corner of all documents.

From the date you mail or transmit the requested information, please allow 20 business days for NVC to

review this documentation/your mail. When we complete our review, the NVC will notify

you/petitioner/beneficiary/attorney with information regarding the next processing step.

If a period of one year passes without contacting the NVC (by e-mail, telephone, or mail), all

submitted fees and documents will expire. Upon expiration, the fees and documents would need to

be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________

The NVC has received the requested Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230). However, we are still

waiting for the Affidavit of Support form. Please submit the Affidavit of Support form according to the

instructions on the Department of State website at the following address:

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov.

From there, you can fill out an Affidavit of Support form online, then print the completed form and mail

it to NVC.

For electronic processing, all forms and documents that we request and require from you should be scanned and e-mailed to

NVC as Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. The documents should be sent as attachments with your e-mail

response and not in a web file. NVC is unable to process documents submitted in web files. Forms and documents should not

be mailed through the postal service. The applicant must present all original forms and documents to the Consular officer at

the visa interview. Failure to present the required originals at the visa interview will result in a denial or delay in obtaining a

visa for the sponsored applicant. Any questions regarding your petition should continue to be directed to

NVCElectronic@state.gov.

PLEASE NOTE: No interview will be scheduled until ALL of the information requested has been emailed to the National

Visa Center.

______PHOTOGRAPH:__________________________________________________

The NVC does not collect scanned images of the photographs required for each travelling applicant for

cases processing electronically.

Please be advised that you must provide two identical front-view color photographs with a white

background as required for each visa applicant at the time of the interview.

The photos must have the name of the person in the photo printed on the back along with the case

number associated with the person's photo.

The photograph part is false, they're just reminding you to bring the photos to the interview.

Yes, we sent the AOS

Since it's not asking for anything specific I'd say they just reviewed your IV package and find it okay. You can call however to confirm. :thumbs:

The NVC rep said they schedule interviews for Islamabad in batches, once a month, now I just hope I didn't just miss the last batch, i'm done with the waiting. sad.gif

9/29/06 - Started dating my husband (LDR For 5 years after 6/07)
8/22/12 - Married in Japan
10/10/12 - I-130 Sent (Japan Post)
10/12/12 - Received at Chicago Lock Box
10/15/12 - NOA1(no email, had to call and find out and recieved the hard copy 10/22/12) case at NBC
12/14/12 - NOA2(no email once again,randomly checked it online)
01/07/13 - NVC Case Received
01/25/13 - Case Number assigned and AOS fee billed(somehow NVC didn't write down the proper emails for my husband and I )
3/06/13 - AOS invoice paid!(more like the 4th,when they withdrew the money!)
3/04/13 - DS-3032 email sent
3/13/13 - DS-3032 replied to
3/14/13 - IV invoice billed
3/16/13 - IV invoice bill paid
3/19/13 - NVC withdrew my money(waiting for the PAID STATUS)
3/24/13 - IV invoice officially paid
4/03/13 - Sent AOS and IV (without PCC....doh!) package via next day mail
4/04/13 - AOS & IV Package received
4/16/13 - AOS accepted(found out by phone april 17th)
4/17/13 - NVC wants PCC(found out via phone)CHECKLIST!
4/18/13 - Sent PCC with checklist (cover letter, etc) next day mail
4/19/13 - PCC delivered
4/30/13 - Case Complete(Lord, PLEASE!!! LET ME GET IT BY THE END OF APRIL!!) #### YEAH!
5/13/13- Interview date assigned & received Packet 4
5/16/13- Package left NVC for Tokyo(I assume it will get there in 3days)
5/20/13- Package delivered to Tokyo embassy
5/21/13- Medical

That's great! Yeah, all my packets and other peoples packets have been reviewed in just under 10 business days after receipt, usually 8 or 9, I actually told my wife i'm gonna call tonight, we should get case complete! A definite good end to a sick day! smile.gif

I've seem numerous instances where lawyers are either incompetent, scum, or just take the slow, long, relaxed route, which is insulting considering the amount of money you give them. Research and read the guides here, and save the money, and have the peace of mind. smile.gif

I usually have it with cockerels, not fish. which hawker stall and # has the fish?

I found 1 shop near Eunos that serve Laksa with fish and boy it's delicious :D. I can't remember the exact address since it's located in a Hawker Centre located in a complex structure.

idk if anybody here knows this answer because its most likely specific to my consulate. but i have been looking around and can't find a solid answer? ok once i get the case complete how long does it usually take for the interest section in Havana to give out a interview i see most people get the interview date for a month after case complete. but since alot of immigration reform went on in Cuba this past January im just not sure?? i think i might get the interview for early June? :no:

Yup, false checklist! And the bit about the photographs... NVC has been sending that out to all EPers. Nothing to worry about!

Call up to confirm acceptance of the IV package tomorrow!
