I made the IV payment on the 17th but the website is still showing payment in process. Is this normal? My AOS payment took only 1 day to clear. Should I wait a few more days? Has anyone encountered this issue before?

My husband just received the e-mail saying;

A letter was sent to the agent of choice or attorney of record indicating the Immigrant Visa Application and/or civil document requirements for this case are incomplete. Please submit the requested Immigrant Visa Application(s) and/or civil documents, as indicated on the checklist. The requested information must be submitted to the NVC for this file to continue processing.

That's the "fake checklist", right? They wouldn't use that wording to indicate that something was incomplete about the Affidavit of Support, would they?

I checked and found that the IV packet was delivered to the NVC about two hours ago! I'm a bit concerned because on the fee payment portal it says the payment is still "IN PROCESS", but I'm reasonably sure that it will clear before they have time to enter the IV packet into the system. (Edit: It cleared the bank so it will show on the payment portal shortly.)

ACCEPTED? WOOT!!!! If they accepted it as is, I would worry about it. Just send it to your spouse to bring to the interview. But do email it to her. Congrats!!!

As far as the the payment not showing PAID, don't worry about it. Both of my AOS and IV were delivered while they were still IN PROCESS. As long as the front coversheet was included, you're good.

Thoughts appreciated:

uscis filed our case incorrectly, while still approving it on the 8th. I called on the 12th to report the error and they acted like little jerks about it. They said I had to wait for a service request to go through and they would mail me their "decision". I have received nothing, the website still says we are approved for the wrong application and I'm incredibly frustrated.

Should I call and ask for an ISO tier 2 guy to try and get an answer? I'm losing my mind.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

i say start with an ISO, but get yer congressional liason stafffer human involved today, as well.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
