You probably didn't make the cut for a May interview. You can probably expect to hear something next week about a June interview. Just try to be patient! good.gif

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

Its just annoying waiting for NVC to get the case to NVC then pay everything and now i have to wait for my country to assign a case . I think my country SDO takes forever to give you a date .

Believe me, I understand. I got my case complete on March 5th and still don't have an interview date. There's really nothing to do expect try to be patient and wait, though. unsure.gif

It depends on your embassy/consulate and how busy they are. Some cases get interviews the same day as their case complete (the UK is usually pretty fast, for example) while others have to wait months (like my consulate, unfortunately. mad.gif). It really changes depending on the country.

well, i've been checking it like once an hour so.. it makes sense that I would actually get that message at some point haha (whereas if you were only checking it twice a day then maybe you didnt try to log in while the invoicing was actually happening)

No, lol... I was clicking it every few minutes while I was sitting around bored and listening to a conference call at work, and bang, there it was. I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting the login error. :)

I've always admired yer unibrow - now get in the kitchen and make me a sammich, woman !

But seriously - this ####### on frequency of shipment out of the local offices is f'ing abysmal, unibrow or no.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

And they've ALL confirmed the same thing, that it was sent on the 8th? If so, then it's time to start calling NVC every day. It can take awhile for packages to be opened in the mailroom and appear as "received" for the operators. But it could be any day now.

Now that is what I called SNAIL MAIL.

I am curious on the interview scheduling. I called the Bermuda embassy and they told me they are waiting on NVC that they have the dates. NVC told me they are waiting on the Bermuda embassy. I do not understand how it takes this long to schedule an interview especially since I was told by both NVC and the embassy that there were May dates available.

The problem is not how busy embassy at this point, but you need to remember there limit of employees at NVC processing thousand of cases per day including mine of course ^_^ .
