Interesting that it wasn't clear to the reviewer not to expect W-2s.

You don't have them, can't generate them, and showed them other stuff.

Ask for another review, but request it from a Supervisor, over the phone. Explain all to the supervisor, ask the supervisor to talk with the Supervisor of the Reviewing team, and ask that a different reviewer be assigned, as the person that first reviewed it does not know what foreign income reported looks like.

That's my two cents. You could spin round and round on this, till you get the right human to make the proper determination and understand what's in front of them.

this is normal, and covered in the FAQ. Also covered in LingChe.

Time and Timing is a bit off for you, for this, but it's ok - usually the IIN is generated same day or next day.

Darnell, thank you for your detailed response. I just express-mailed a checklist response to them last Friday. I included my working visa in Singapore, my complete tax return for 2012 (again) (1040+2555+W2-equivalent used in Singapore) with a letter from my company saying that they do not issue form W-2 since they are not based in the U.S. Hope they will accept my response. If not, I will use the method you highlighted. Thank you so much for your help.

You not note a detailed cover letter, explaining all.

You didn't have it the first time and not have it this time. I think you're gonna have the same issues.

Remember yer reading audience at NVC, aye? If you plan for a reading comprehension level of about a 7th grader, each time, then these things don't happen.

I'm thinking they reviewed (and accepted) either the DS-260 or the IV package for your case. I'd suggest calling up though to find out. Got less than 2 hours

We were already at case complete except for my Military Records. They weren’t sure why it said IV Visa App when it should have said Military Records.

It looks like the Checklists are going to come every 7 days until I can get my paperwork from NDHQ and to them. :clock:

I was looking into one of the heated storage locker places to store my stuff at the end of my lease if I become homeless because of this process and they wanted a 12 month lease. For a freaking storage locker.

I did have a cover letter explaining why I didn't have the W-2 as well as the list of evidences showing my working status in Singapore. Hopefully it will be ok....

Folks, silly question number 2? The instructions for DS-230 say to submit a marriage certificate with the seal or stamp of the issuing authority. The certified copy of my marriage certificate that I obtained directly from the registrar in Aberdeen (I actually went there and got it myself) does not have a seal or stamp, though it is the official copy on official paper and signed by the registrar. I checked with my husband, who has the original certificate that we were given, and he says it does not bear a seal or stamp either. Does this matter? Anyone else married in Scotland?

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

All advice is given pursuant to the Disclaimer that you may read at the bottom of each forum page.

LATEST STEPS:

28 Jun 2013: POE Houston

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

Well, I had the bright idea of calling the registrar's office in Scotland and the clerk on the phone said no worries, they do not stamp or seal the document, just have the registrar sign it. And if I have any questions, "refer them to this office". LOL. OK, great, I'll reply to the checklist with "Hey, go call Scotland, you ninnies". :)

Write a letter stating that. For my wife's adoption decree, we got a copy from the court registrar. It had written on it "true per registrar" rather than "certified". I wrote a letter explaining how the courts don't write certified and its impossible for me to get them to change their stamps for the consulate. Hoping they understand and will find out later this week to see if it worked.

I agree. Never thought there would be a time when I would eagerly wait for the weekend to be over. You and I have similar timing at NVC. I am also hoping to have the case complete this week.

Is your spouse going to have the interview at Delhi embassy or Mumbai?

So I have my IIN now and I clicked on the link to go to the DS-261 and it said my case was not available for additional processing at this time. This means I should just wait, right? Eventually it will come on there and I can fill it out?

Nothing has been invoiced it looks like when I log in so I assume I just wait for that as well?

Those who are filing I-864w and can not find much information. Please look at this thread:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/413975-i-864w-rare-case-question/

This should be a help to you. I filed I-864w and it was accepted by NVC.

I believe this has been answered already but I couldn't find the original question in relation to this answer.

3/06/13 - AOS invoice paid!(more like the 4th,when they withdrew the money!)
3/04/13 - DS-3032 email sent
