Just called NVC...

2 good news :-)

- They received the IV packet and it is in "final review" (not sure what that means but surely close I guess)

- My expedite request has been accepted! (I guess the embassy will contact us to set the interview date, right???)

Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel... thanks to all here and especially the ones who go above and beyond.

ya, there's some MENA-based IV Units that interview on a Sunday. Usually because Friday is some local 'non-work day', but I can't remember which ones, only that there are 3.

Hmm...there seems to be conflicting views. I guess I should call NVC or DOS to confirm.

Where are you seeing conflicting views?

I personally said I never saw any on weekends, but that does NOT mean at all it's not possible, like I said before. I've never personally seen France, but that doesn't mean France doesn't exist!

If I had to guess, with the expedite approved, they'll probably wrap up your case in a day or two, then either get an interview date assigned right away and then ship it, or vice versa. You'll need to stay in contact with NVC every day to find out what's going on.

I'm here again. NVC received my AOS packet April 1st, so will hopefully review before the 15th when we will need 2012 tax info. Just waiting on confirmation that they've received the choice of sgent by email, then the IV fee. Whoop, at least part way there

if'n you see outdated info, when comparing the two websites (IV Unit info is latest version, VJ Consulate page is last updated in 2007)

please update.

if'n you see new info in the IV Unit webpage, please update the VJ Consulate page.

Guys, I paid my AOS and IV bills on the 29th of March and they are still in process!! I am little concerned now, cause I am planning on sending my packages tomorrow by over night mail! Should I wait till it shows paid, cause that won't be a good thing if they get it and it's still not paid! :S

Guys, I paid my AOS and IV bills on the 29th of March and they are still in process!! I am little concerned now, cause I am planning on sending my packages tomorrow by over night mail! Should I wait till it shows paid, cause that won't be a good thing if they get it and it's still not paid! :S

Send them in, it takes about 2 weeks to review packets, send as soon as you pay, especially if mailing from abroad.

I thought you couldn't get the bar code sheet to mail them in before they show as paid?
